Felix Sandstrom In Goal Thursday Against Ottawa

Philadelphia Flyers goalie Felix Sandstrom saved 27 of 29 shots to end a nine-game losing streak as he beat the Montreal Canadiens in his last start on Tuesday. The 26-year-old has had a rough rookie season, producing a 2-10-2 record, 3.38 goals-against-average, and a .887 save percentage. He will be starting against the Ottawa Senators, who have won three of their last five games after a 5-2 win over Florida most recently. Veteran Cam Talbot will likely be in goal for the Senators.

Felix Sandstrom Minding The Crease Thursday

Philadelphia Flyers goalie Felix Sandstrom has struggled. His last appearance for the team was on February 12th, where he suffered his sixth consecutive loss by conceding four goals on 21 shots against Seattle. The 26-year-old goaltender has a lackluster 1-8-1 record, a 3.52 goals-against-average, and a .880 save percentage. He could pick up another loss facing off against the Carolina Hurricanes, who are currently on a three-game winning streak and have won eight of their last ten games.

Felix Sandstrom Returns To Action Sunday

Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Felix Sandstrom will make his first appearance since Dec. 13 in Sunday's matchup versus Winnipeg. The Swedish netminder is getting his ninth start of the campaign, hoping to improve a 1-6-1 record. He's had a miserable time in the crease and a meeting with a team that scores 3.28 goals per game doesn't promise much either. The Jets are also in the midst of a hot spell, having dropped only three games since the turn of the year. Sandstrom enters the matchup with a 3.37 goals-against average and a .888 save percentage.

Felix Sandstrom In Flyers Net On Sunday

Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Felix Sandstrom will head out for his third start of the season Sunday against Buffalo. It's going to be his second appearance this week after Carter Hart (lower body) got sidelined. Sandstrom didn't get any goal support in Wednesday's 4-0 loss to the Rangers and his only other appearance in 2021-22 came on Dec. 30 in a 3-2 loss to San Jose. The 25-year-old Swede has logged a 15-18-4 record in the AHL for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, giving up 2.93 goals per game with a .901 save percentage, while posting one shutout. The Flyers have dropped nine of their last 11 games, so it's pretty hard to trust Sandstrom in fantasy hockey.

Felix Sandstrom Nearly Pulls Off Win On Thursday

Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Felix Sandstrom got the call with Martin Jones needing a night off on Thursday. Sandstrom knew he was going to face a lot of shots. He probably did not expect to see 46 in all on Thursday night. That is just what happened, as Sandstrom had to again and again steal the show. He single-handedly kept the Flyers in a game they had no business gaining a point from. That is just what happened. The Finnish goalie could be worth another look, depending on how long Carter Hart is out.
