Keith Kinkaid Gets The Start Wednesday

New York Rangers goaltender Keith Kinkaid will get a rare start against Scott Wedgewood and the Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday. It is probably one of the few times one will ever see a battle of the former New Jersey Devils goaltenders. Kinkaid is making his first start of the 2021-22 season after making seven starts for the Rangers in 2020-21. He posted a 2.59 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage overall in nine appearances. Kinkaid had a 3-2-1 mark in six decisions. In a battle of less-than-stellar goaltenders, at least he is on the side of the team that has won nine of its last 12 games against the Arizona Coyotes.

Keith Kinkaid Starts For Rangers On Monday

New York Rangers goaltender Keith Kinkaid will make his fifth start of the season in Monday's matchup versus Buffalo. It's a second consecutive start for the 31-year-old, who ended Washington's seven-game winning streak with a 28-save performance on Saturday. Kinkaid has a 2-1-1 record for the season with a 2.07 goals-against average, a .918 save percentage, and one shutout. The Sabres have six wins for the season and have lost 13 on the bounce, so Kinkaid is in a must-start spot on Monday.

Keith Kinkaid Makes Fourth Start Of The Season

New York Rangers goaltender Keith Kinkaid will earn his fourth start of the season on Saturday against Washington. Igor Shesterkin (groin) has been back in practice, but it's Kinkaid who will finish off a back-to-back set against the Capitals. The 31-year-old has a 1-1-1 record for the season with a 2.32 goals-against average, a .905 save percentage, and one shutout. He's done a decent job but takes on a team that's on a seven-game winning streak, so it's very hard to trust Kinkaid on Saturday's slate.

Keith Kinkaid Shuts Out Bruins

New York Rangers goaltender Keith Kinkaid stopped all 18 shots in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Boston, to post his first shutout of the season. The 31-year-old was inactive at the start of the year but has now featured four times this month with Igor Shesterkin (groin) out and Alexandar Georgiev struggling. Shesterkin hasn't played since March 4 but is rated day-to-day so he should be back between the pipes soon. However, with the Rangers having four games next week, Kinkaid is also set to see more action, which makes him useful for fantasy managers who lack quality in the goalie department.

Keith Kinkaid Makes First Rangers Start

New York Rangers goaltender Keith Kinkaid will make his first start for the club in Tuesday's rematch with Pittsburgh. He made his Rangers debut in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Penguins, when Alexandar Georgiev had an awful day at the office by giving up three goals on six shots. With Igor Shesterkin (groin) out, it's now time for Kinkaid to show what he's capable of. He has a 65-56-20 career record with a 2.95 goals-against average, a .905 save percentage, and seven shutouts. Kinkaid will look to impress, but it's a very tough spot for him to get a win.
