Maxim Mamin Pots Two Goals In Saturday's Win
Florida Panthers forward Maxim Mamin came through with some big goals in Saturday's matchup against St. Louis, tying things up twice before Anton Lundell and Sam Reinhart secured a 4-3 win in a shootout. Mamin was assisted by Lundell on both plays and finished with five total shots in 14:36 of ice time. The 26-year-old Russian had managed just one point in eight outings this season prior to Saturday. He's played very little but found himself on the second line against the Blues and instantly produced. Mamin had a 35-point year in 55 outings for CSKA Moscow in the KHL last term. It's taken some time for him to find his feet in the NHL, but Mamin is getting a nice opportunity now in a top-six role.
