The 29-year-old reliever has been dealing with a right flexor pronator strain in his right arm since the beginning of July. He'll get a few minor league games under his belt before joining the Reds sometime in mid-August. Warren put together a rough 6.91 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 30:15 K/BB ratio across 28 2/3 innings of relief before going down. Despite his struggles, he did notch three saves and four holds and figures to be in the mix for high-leverage situations once he returns to action.

Things are probably going to be fluid with the Cincinnati bullpen at least for now. When the Reds hold a late lead, Santillan may be called upon to face an opposing team's top hitters no matter which inning that may end up being, and that will make the saves picture quite messy.
