Chad Sobotka Fantasy Stats

The Milwaukee Brewers acquired right-handed pitchers Chad Sobotka and Patrick Weigel from the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday in exchange for infielder Orlando Arcia. Arcia had spent all six of his major league seasons with the Brewers and has a career .244 batting average with 42 home runs, 180 RBI and 39 stolen bases. He figures to serve as infield depth for the Braves, leaving him with very little fantasy value. Sobotka, 27, had a 5.36 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 50 relief outings for the Braves over three seasons. Weigel, 26, allowed two runs in two-thirds of an inning in his only major league appearance with the Braves last year.

Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Chad Sobotka (abdominal) has been activated from the 10-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A. The righty reliever spent nearly a month out of action due to an abdominal strain. Sobotka had an 8.25 ERA with the Braves this season through 13 appearances. Hopefully he can straighten out his stuff in the minors. Sobotka has no fantasy value right now, so leave him on the waiver wire.
