Francisco Cervelli Out of Lineup, Chris Stewart Filling In Once Again
Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli might be more productive if he could stay in the lineup. Cervelli homered on Wednesday and has been driving in runs consistently this season, but he won't be playing Friday because of a knee issue that may have been caused by a play at the plate earlier in the week in which Dodgers second baseman Chase Utley made contact with him. Cervelli will be replaced by backup Chris Stewart, who is hitting .261 with zeros in all counting stat categories over 23 at-bats.
