Dillon Gee Will Stay In Twins Rotation
The Minnesota Twins plan to keep right-hander Dillon Gee in their big league rotation for now. Gee is scheduled to make his next start against the Kansas City Royals on Friday. Gee has been a pleasant surprise since joining the Twins on August 3, compiling a 3.18 ERA along with 21 strikeouts in 22 2/3 innings of work. The right-hander began the year with the Texas Rangers before catching on with Minnesota. With Hector Santiago still struggling with a back issue, we could see Gee in the starting rotation for the foreseeable future if he continues to pitch well.
