Taj Bradley Hits the Injured List

The Minnesota Twins have placed starting pitcher Taj Braldey on the 15-day Injured List because of right pectoral inflammation. The right-handed hurler has had a fantastic start to the 2026 season, posting a 2.82 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, all while striking out 52 batters in just 47 innings pitched. He looked dominant in his last start last weekend, but he has since developed an injury that will require time off. He was set to start on Sunday in Cleveland, but now the team will be searching for answers. It is also unclear if he will be ready to return when first eligible, giving the Twins quite a hole to fill in their rotation long term.

Kaelen Culpepper Entering High-End Stash Territory Following Power Surge

Minnesota Twins infield prospect Kaelen Culpepper has begun to climb the stash rankings following an impressive power surge at Triple-A St. Paul. Over his last eight games, the No. 2-ranked prospect in the system, according to MLB.com, has gone deep five times while carrying an impressive .294/.390/.794 slash line. During this dominant stretch, Culpepper has also swiped two bags while holding a 4:5 K:BB. Overall, across 31 games, Culpepper has looked quite comfortable at the Triple-A level, posting a .250/.345/.484 line with an .829 OPS. Last season, the infielder split time between High-A and Double-A and carried an overall .289/.375/.469 slash line with 20 home runs and 25 stolen bases. His five-category upside has made him a priority stash option in all 12-team leagues heading into Week 7 of the fantasy baseball season.

Royce Lewis is Uncertain About Future in Minnesota

Minnesota Twins third baseman Royce Lewis is unsure if he has a future with the organization. Recently, Lewis spoke about how he's having difficulty avoiding looking at the big picture. He continued by saying it has been hard for him lately with his career feeling like it's going in a different direction. Lewis has struggled to stay healthy, and he knows that there's always someone waiting in the wings to take your job. So far this season, Lewis is slashing .169/.270/.312 with three home runs and 11 RBI across 23 games. This season marks his fifth year in the big leagues, and Lewis is still trying to establish himself as an everyday player. It remains to be seen how long a leash the Twins will give Lewis if he continues to struggle at the plate.

Mick Abel Receives Cortisone Injection After Feeling Triceps Soreness

Minnesota Twins right-hander Mick Abel (elbow, triceps) felt soreness in his triceps muscle after throwing a simulated game on Saturday and received a cortisone shot, according to Dan Hayes of The Athletic. Abel is currently on the 15-day injured list due to right-elbow inflammation. The Twins plan to re-evaluate him on Tuesday. It's a setback that will push the 24-year-old's return back. Before his injury, Abel had joined the Twins' starting rotation and had gone 1-2 with a 3.98 ERA (2.79 FIP), 1.57 WHIP, and 23:10 K:BB in 20 1/3 innings pitched over four appearances (three starts). After allowing nine earned runs in his first 7 1/3 innings pitched in his first two outings of 2026, Abel had cleaned things up with 13 scoreless innings over his two most recent starts, with 16 strikeouts to earn some consideration off the waiver wire in fantasy baseball formats. Abel is currently rostered in 19% of Yahoo leagues, but a serious setback could ruin his chances of a potential breakout this year. Check back next week for an update on the former Phillies prospect.

Joe Ryan Listed as Scheduled Starter for Saturday Against Cleveland

Minnesota Twins right-hander Joe Ryan (elbow) is officially listed as the team's scheduled starter for Saturday's game in Cleveland against the division-rival Guardians, according to Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic. The Twins pulled Ryan from his last outing against the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday after just nine pitches with soreness in his right elbow. Thankfully, an MRI exam ruled out any structural damage for the 29-year-old, and he's been cleared to make his next start this weekend in a plus matchup against a Guardians team that ranks 22nd in OPS (.693). Despite the plus matchup, Ryan will be extra risky for fantasy managers and could be on a shorter leash on Saturday after throwing only nine pitches his last time out. The former seventh-round pick by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2018 out of Cal State Stanislaus has gone 2-3 this year for the Twins with a 3.72 ERA (3.01 FIP), 1.06 WHIP, and 40:10 K:BB in 38 2/3 innings across his eight starts.

Emmanuel Rodriguez Emerging as Top Outfield Prospect to Stash

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Emmanuel Rodriguez continues to climb the stash rankings and enters Week 6 as one of the top outfield prospects to stash in fantasy. Entering the regular season, Rodriguez was considered the team's No. 4 prospect and the overall No. 64 prospect in the sport, per MLB.com. Last summer, Rodriguez dealt with injuries but spent most of his time with Triple-A St. Paul. Over these 52 games, Rodriguez held a .258/.429/.423 line with an .852 OPS. This season, Rodriguez has spent the early going with St. Paul, and he has continued to hold his own, posting a .241/.417/.506 line with a strong .923 OPS. He has gone deep six times while swiping three bags. Given his high-end power upside and clear path to opportunities in Minnesota, Rodriguez is worth stashing in all 12-team, five-outfielder leagues that have "N/A" spots.

Kaelen Culpepper Climbing Stash Rankings Amid Hot Stretch at Triple-A

Minnesota Twins infield prospect Kaelen Culpepper has continued to climb the stash rankings among hitting prospects as he nears his MLB debut. The No. 2-ranked prospect in the system, according to MLB.com, began the 2026 campaign with Triple-A St. Paul, putting him just one stop away from the big leagues. Through 29 total games, Culpepper has held his own, posting a .252/.343/.479 slash line with an .822 OPS, six doubles, seven home runs, and six stolen bases. However, over his last 15 contests, Culpepper has been even more impressive, launching four of these home runs with an eye-catching .909 OPS. Last summer, the infielder split his time between High-A and Double-A and enjoyed just as much success, carrying an .844 OPS. Given Minnesota's lack of depth in its current infield, Culpepper could debut before the All-Star break, making him a solid stash option in 12+ team formats.

Kaelen Culpepper a Top Prospect to Stash Amid Power Surge?

Minnesota Twins shortstop prospect Kaelen Culpepper has displayed impressive power lately, putting him on the fantasy radar as an intriguing minor leaguer to stash ahead of his anticipated MLB debut. Culpepper owns a modest .246/.336/.447 slash line with six homers, six steals, and 100 wRC+ in Triple-A this year, but lately he's been on a tear that will earn him some consideration for a promotion. Over his last five games, he's hitting 6-for-20 with three home runs, one double, six RBI, two walks, three strikeouts, and a stolen base. His EV50 of 94.6 mph ranks in the 88th percentile, and while he doesn't have the greatest plate discipline, he does a good job making contact and limiting whiffs. A former first-round pick, Culpepper now has 28 games of experience at Triple-A, plus 19 career at-bats against major league pitching in Spring Training. If he continues to produce impressive power, the Twins will be tempted to call him up for his MLB debut. As a result, he's an intriguing fantasy baseball option on the waiver wire.

Walker Jenkins Diagnosed with Grade 2 AC Joint Sprain

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Walker Jenkins (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 AC joint sprain in his left shoulder and will be re-evaluated in 10 days to further determine his return timeline, per Dan Hayes of The Athletic. Jenkins suffered the injury by colliding with the outfield wall while playing in a game with Triple-A St. Paul on Sunday. The 21-year-old is widely considered one of the best prospects in all of baseball and was hitting .256/.396/.389 with two home runs, nine RBI, 15 runs scored, and five stolen bases across 111 plate appearances at Triple-A before getting injured. While it's still possible that Jenkins will make his MLB debut in 2026, this injury will undoubtedly set him back. Fantasy managers should check back in 10 days once Jenkins is given a firmer return timeline.

Walker Jenkins Suffers Shoulder Injury at Triple-A

Minnesota Twins top prospect Walker Jenkins (shoulder) suffered an apparent left-shoulder injury after crashing into the center-field wall at Triple-A St. Paul on Sunday, according to MLB Pipeline. The No. 11 overall prospect in all of baseball was removed in the sixth inning. The 21-year-old outfielder is the Twins' top prospect. It's unclear right now how serious Jenkins' shoulder injury is, but we should have more clarity on the situation soon. The former fifth overall pick in 2023 is still worth stashing in dynasty/keeper leagues. In 25 games so far in 2026 down on the farm at Triple-A, Jenkins has hit .256/.396/.389 with a .785 OPS, two home runs, nine RBI, five stolen bases, and 15 runs scored across 111 plate appearances. He possesses a smooth a repeatable left-handed swing and is a plus hitter with plenty of power upside. Jenkins could easily stick in center field at the major-league level with above-average speed. Depending on how serious his shoulder injury is, Jenkins is a realistic candidate to make his big-league debut for the Twins in 2026.

Joe Ryan Exits Early From Start on Sunday Due to Elbow Soreness

Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Joe Ryan (elbow) was forced to exit early from his start on Sunday against the Toronto Blue Jays due to elbow soreness, per Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Ryan faced just two batters before being removed from the game, recording a walk and a strikeout. While the exact nature of Ryan's injury is not yet clear, any elbow issue for a pitcher is obviously a major cause for concern. Entering play on Sunday, Ryan had posted a 2-3 record with a 3.76 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 39 strikeouts across 38 1/3 innings (seven starts). Any absence for Ryan would be a significant blow for both fantasy managers and the Twins. Should Ryan miss time, Minnesota right-hander Zebby Matthews could be in line for a promotion from Triple-A to the big league rotation.

Connor Prielipp is Offering Deep League Value After Another Solid Outing

Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Connor Prielipp has been a consistent option for the team over the last few weeks. Prielipp took the mound for his third start of the season against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday. He tossed five innings, allowing three earned runs on two hits while striking out four batters. The rookie southpaw owns a 3.86 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and a 15/5 K/BB ratio across three starts. He has held his opponents to under three earned runs in each of his first three starts. Prielipp could be worth a look in deep leagues for as long as he sticks on the big league roster.

Cole Sands Hit the Injured List

Minnesota Twins relief pitcher Cole Sands (forearm) was transferred to the 15-day Injured List on Saturday with a strained right forearm. The 28-year-old struggled in his last appearance, surrendering two earned runs on three hits in just two-thirds of an inning. Before that, he had been a reliable source of outs in the Twins' bullpen, recording one save and three holds over 11 appearances. However, with his fastball velocity down nearly two miles per hour compared to last year, it's fair to wonder if he had been dealing with this issue for some time. There is no timeline for his return, as the severity is not yet known, but he will be eligible for activation in 15 days.

Emmanuel Rodriguez Quickly Approaching MLB Promotion?

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Emmanuel Rodriguez has continued to heat up at Triple-A and is emerging as a sneaky stash candidate in deep formats. Through 22 games at Triple-A, Rodriguez has posted a .253/.412/.533 slash line with a .945 OPS. During this stint, Rodriguez has gone deep six times, tallied three doubles, and swiped three bags. However, over his last 11 contests, Rodriguez has raised his OPS to .994 and held a much-improved 16:14 K:BB. Last summer, Rodriguez made his Triple-A debut and held a solid .258/.429/.423 line with an .852 OPS. Seeing the No. 66-ranked prospect in the sport show steady progression at Triple-A is an excellent sign and suggests he is nearing his MLB debut. If he continues this pace, Rodriguez could debut before the end of the first half. His high-end power makes him a top prospect to stash among outfielders.

Walker Jenkins Still on the Stash Radar After Slow Start?

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Walker Jenkins is off to a slow start to the Triple-A regular season and is falling down the stash rankings. Jenkins entered the 2026 regular season as the team's No. 1 rake-prospect and the overall No. 11 prospect in the sport on MLB.com. Through the first 21 games of the Triple-A regular season, Jenkins has held a disappointing .213/.372/.293 slash line with three doubles, one home run, and four stolen bases. While his bat is yet to show on the box score, he has shown a strong eye at the plate, holding a 14:17 K:BB. During his first taste of Triple-A last season, Jenkins showed similar growing pains, posting a .242/.324/.396 line with a .720 OPS. Given that Jenkins has yet to adjust to Triple-A pitching, he is only worth stashing in deep 15-team leagues with "N/A" spots.

Luke Keaschall Trending Up Amid Four-Game Hitting Streak

Minnesota Twins second baseman Luke Keaschall's stats in the month of April are underwhelming, but he appears to be getting back on track. The 23-year-old owns a four-game hitting streak, going 5-for-14 with one double, one RBI, two walks, and five strikeouts during that span. In total this season, he's slashing .221/.276/.283 with just one home run, but he does have seven stolen bases. The power output has been minimal, though, as he owns a .062 ISO and 57 wRC+. His K/BB rate has also taken a step backward from his 49-game sample as a rookie last year; he's walking 6.5% of the time and striking out at a 16.3% clip. On a more promising note, the defense has been above average, and his latest hitting streak could be a sign that he's turning things around at the plate. After all, he posted an .837 OPS and 134 wRC+ as a rookie in 2025. As it stands, Keaschall is the #8 second baseman in RotoBaller's latest fantasy baseball rankings.

Kaelen Culpepper Slumping, but Remains a Stash Consideration

Minnesota Twins infield prospect Kaelen Culpepper fell into a 0-for-14 slump at Triple-A St. Paul last week, lowering his season-long slash line to .234/.327/.372 for the Saints. Still, a 21.5 percent strikeout rate is not cause for concern, and a better-than-average 11.2 percent walk rate has allowed him to continue to get on base. The former first-rounder has belted three home runs and stolen five bases through 23 games thus far, showing off the well-rounded skillset that produced a .289/.375/.469 slash line with 20 home runs and 25 steals a season ago between High-A and Double-A. Expect the talented 23-year-old to get back on track soon and make a push for a big league debut. With solid contact skills, decent power, and good speed, the Twins' second-ranked prospect makes for an intriguing stash option in deep leagues, though he's currently only eligible at SS on the Yahoo! platform.

Mick Abel Playing Catch, Unlikely to Return When Eligible

Minnesota Twins right-hander Mick Abel (elbow) has started playing catch, and "all signs have been encouraging," manager Derek Shelton told Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic. Abel is unlikely to be ready to come off the 15-day injured list when he's first eligible, but the Twins still think his injury is "relatively minor." Fantasy managers probably won't have Abel back from the IL when he's eligible to be reinstated this Saturday, but it might not be that long of a wait after that. He initially went on the IL with right-elbow inflammation, which has allowed left-handed rookie Connor Prielipp to get his first couple of starts in the big leagues for the Twins. The 24-year-old former 15th overall pick in 2020 by the Philadelphia Phillies is still rostered in 20% of Yahoo leagues despite his elbow injury. Abel allowed nine earned runs on 22 hits while walking 10 and striking out 23 in 20 1/3 innings over his first four appearances (three starts) in 2026 for the Twins. Abel should absolutely have a starting rotation spot waiting for him in Minnesota when he returns from the IL.

Kaelen Culpepper Continues to Produce at Triple-A, Nearing MLB Promotion?

Minnesota Twins infield prospect Kaelen Culpepper is continuing to find great success at Triple-A St. Paul and is quickly approaching an MLB debut. Through 20 total games this season, the infielder has posted a .265/.351/.422 line with a .773 OPS. He has tallied four doubles, hit three home runs, and swiped four bags. Over his last 10, he has posted an even higher .286 AVG with a .375 OBP. Last summer, Culpepper spent his time with High-A and Double-A and looked comfortable at both levels. Over both stints (113 games), the infielder held a .289/.375/.469 line with 16 doubles, 20 home runs, and 25 stolen bases. Seeing him not miss a step in his move to Triple-A is an excellent sign for his long-term outlook. With the Twins not finding much stable production in their middle infield spots, Culpepper is quickly emerging into must-stash territory.

Connor Prielipp Called Up to Make MLB Debut on Wednesday

Minnesota Twins left-handed pitching prospect Connor Prielipp has been called up from the minors to make his major-league debut and start against the New York Mets on Wednesday, according to Matthew Leach of MLB.com. Prielipp is taking the roster spot of Mick Abel (elbow), who landed on the 15-day injured list on Monday. He was a former second-round pick in 2022. Prielipp has a lengthy injury history, but the team's No. 5 prospect per MLB Pipeline, has "dynamite stuff" when he's healthy. In his last start for Triple-A St. Paul on April 16, the young lefty struck out eight over five innings. The 25-year-old has already had two Tommy John surgeries, but he's healthy now and was looking great at St. Paul, posting a 2.30 ERA with 22 strikeouts and eight walks in 15 2/3 innings before his call-up. Prielipp probably won't go very deep in his MLB debut at Citi Field on Wednesday, but he does have an excellent matchup against a struggling Mets team that has lost 12 straight games.
