Kaelen Culpepper Worth a Deep-League Stash?

Minnesota Twins infield prospect Kaelen Culpepper has yet to slow down since moving up to Triple-A St. Paul and is climbing the stash ranks in Week 3 of the fantasy baseball season. Through his first 14 games at the top level of the Twins system, the infielder has posted a solid .250/.318/.417 slash line with three home runs and a stolen base. He has posted four multi-hit games and only gone hitless three times over the opening weeks of the campaign. During the 2025 campaign, Culpepper split time between High-A and Double-A and carried an overall .289/.375/.469 line with 20 home runs and 25 stolen bases across 113 total contests. Given that the Twins lack proven production in the middle of their infield as both Brooks Lee and Luke Keaschall have gotten off to slow starts, Culpepper's MLB debut could come much sooner than expected. His five-category potential makes him a priority stash option this week in all 12+ team formats.

Kaelen Culpepper Gaining Value as Stash Candidate

Minnesota Twins infield prospect Kaelen Culpepper has enjoyed an impressive start to his time at the Triple-A level and is quickly climbing up the stash rankings. Through his first 11 contests at the top level of the Minnesota system, Culpepper has posted a .283/.365/.500 slash line with one double, three home runs, and a stolen base. Last summer, the former 21st overall selection split time between High-A and Double-A and is now quickly approaching the major leagues. At High-A, Culpepper posted a .293/.385/.479 line with nine long balls. At Double-A, he continued to produce, carrying a .285/.367/.460 line with 11 long balls over a 59-game stint. Currently, Minnesota's starting shortstop Brooks Lee carries a modest .194 AVG with a .436 OPS over his first 11 games, which could provide Culpepper an MLB role much sooner than expected. He is a solid stash option in deeper 12+ team formats.

Kaelen Culpepper Enjoying Hot Start at Triple-A, Emerging as Sneaky Stash Option?

Minnesota Twins infield prospect Kaelen Culpepper launched two home runs across St. Paul's doubleheader on Sunday and is emerging as a top hitter stash candidate. Over his first eight games at the Triple-A level, Culpepper has posted a .294/.368/.559 slash line with three round-trippers, six runs, eight RBI, and a 7:3 K:BB. Last summer, the former 21st overall selection for the 2024 MLB Draft quickly progressed through the Minnesota system and is now just one stop away from the majors. In 2025, he spent time at both High-A and Double-A and carried an overall .289/.375/.469 line with 20 home runs and 25 stolen bases, over a 113-game stint. If Culpepper can continue this trajectory, he could make a strong case to debut in the majors in the first half. For now, he is a viable stash candidate in deeper formats.

Kaelen Culpepper to Begin Regular Season at Triple-A

Minnesota Twins top infield prospect Kaelen Culpepper is set to begin the 2026 regular season with Triple-A St. Paul. Culpepper will open the campaign just one step away from the major leagues, which will set him up for an early 2026 debut. Culpepper joined the Twins as the 21st overall selection in the 2024 Draft out of Kansas State. Last summer, Culpepper split his time between High-A and Double-A. At High-A, the infielder carried a .293/.385/.479 line with nine home runs and 15 stolen bases. At Double-A, the 23-year-old took a slight step down, carrying a .285/.267/.460 slash line with 11 home runs and 10 stolen bases. If Culpepper continues this trajectory with St. Paul, he should join Minnesota before the All-Star break. He is worth monitoring in deeper formats for now and could emerge as an early-season top stash candidate.

Kaelen Culpepper Continuing to Trend Upward

Minnesota Twins infield prospect Kaelen Culpepper was invited to major league camp this spring and has not disappointed, going 6-for-19 (.316) with a double and a stolen base, a continuation of the success he saw a season ago. The Twins' second-ranked prospect spent half of 2025 at High-A and the other half at Double-A, posting similar numbers at both levels, culminating in a .289/.375/.469 slash line with 20 home runs and 25 steals in 113 games. He may begin the season with Double-A Wichita, but it shouldn't be long before the former first-rounder gets his first taste of Triple-A action, and a late-season debut in the majors could be in the cards. Brooks Lee is currently slated to play shortstop for the big league club, but even after a 16-homer campaign in 2025, Lee has produced an uninspiring .636 OPS, .277 wOBA, and 75 wRC+ through 189 major league games, so there is certainly an offensive hole Culpepper could fill if Lee's struggles continue. Culpepper is not a stash candidate in season-long leagues at this point, but could become one later in the year, so fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progress throughout 2026.
