Kendry Rojas Traded to Minnesota

The Minnesota Twins are acquiring left-handed pitching prospect Kendry Rojas from the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for Louis Varland and Ty France. In this return, the Twins are also receiving outfielder Alan Roden. The 22-year-old southpaw was considered the No. 8-ranked prospect in the Toronto system before the trade on MLB.com. Rojas has spent the 2025 campaign pitching for numerous levels of the Toronto system. He has logged 18 innings split between the FCL and Low-A and posted an elite 1.00 ERA and a 0.83 WHIP over this stretch. Through 18 2/3 innings with Double-A, Rojas posted a 3.86 ERA with a strong 30:2 K:BB. He was then bumped up to Triple-A, where he has allowed six runs across five innings of work. Fantasy managers should expect Rojas to report to Triple-A St. Paul.

Blue Jays' Kendry Rojas Promoted to Triple-A

Toronto Blue Jays left-handed prospect Kendry Rojas has been promoted to Triple-A after an impressive stint at Double-A. Rojas dominated, striking out 40% of the hitters he faced while walking just 2.7%. At 22 years old, he's quickly climbing Toronto's prospect rankings and is now just one step away from the majors. Rojas features a mid-90s fastball that sets up his wipeout slider. His potential makes him an intriguing stash for dynasty leagues as he continues to develop and approach the big leagues.

Kendry Rojas Sharp in Rehab Assignment

Toronto Blue Jays left-handed pitching prospect Kendry Rojas (abdomen) has been quite sharp in his rehab assignment with Low-A. The Blue Jays placed Rojas on the 7-day IL at High-A at the start of the regular season. He was sent on a rehab assignment to the Florida Complex League in May and made two starts before moving up to Low-A. Through four outings in Low-A (three starts), Rojas has been quite dominant, tossing 13 shutout innings with a 0.62 WHIP. During this stretch, he has struck out 18 batters and allowed only three walks. In his most recent outing on Thursday, Rojas struck out nine batters. Last summer, the No. 9-ranked prospect in the system spent most of his time with High-A and held a 2.43 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP. When he returns from the IL, fantasy managers should expect him to report to High-A Vancouver.
