Walker Jenkins Knocks First Triple-A Hit

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Walker Jenkins tallied his first hit at the Triple-A level on Thursday evening. Facing Toledo, Jekins went 1-for-4 with a double and a walk. During his first two games at Triple-A earlier in the week, the top-ranked prospect in Minnesota went 0-for-8 with three strikeouts. The former fifth overall pick has spent the majority of the campaign with Double-A and held a strong .309/.426/.487 slash line with 11 doubles, seven home runs, and 11 stolen bases. While he has dealt with injuries at times throughout his minor league career, when on the field, Jenkins has flashed immense upside. Jenkins is not expected to be in the mix to debut in the majors this season, but if he can enjoy a strong conclusion to the season, he could be in the mix to reach Minnesota early in 2026.

Walker Jenkins Promoted to Triple-A

Minnesota Twins outfielder Walker Jenkins has been promoted to Triple-A St. Paul, reports Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic. The top prospect is ranked 14th overall by MLB.com for good reason, as he has slashed .304/.426/.477 with eight home runs and 13 stolen bases in 60 minor league games this season. The 20-year-old unfortunately missed a large chunk of the season due to a left ankle injury, but it's encouraging to see him still reach the top level of the minor leagues. He'll have the chance to make his major league debut in 2026 as one of the most highly regarded prospects in the sport.

Walker Jenkins Smacks His Eighth Homer of the Season

The Minnesota Twins' top prospect and MLB's 14th overall prospect, Walker Jenkins, smacked his eighth home run of the season on Thursday. On the season, Jenkins is slashing an excellent .308/.424/.481 eight homeruns, 24 RBI, 42 runs, and 12 stolen bases in 255 plate appearances across the CPX League, Single-A, and Double-A. Jenkins was the fifth overall pick by the Twins back in 2023, and with the Twins moving on from a handful of their players at the deadline, Jenkins' path to the big league club only got faster. At this time, he will likely finish the season in Triple-A and have a chance to make the big league club out of Spring Training in 2026. He remains a high-end outfield stash in dynasty formats.

Walker Jenkins Named Texas League Player of the Week

Minnesota Twins top prospect Walker Jenkins was named Texas League Player of the Week after a dominant showing at Double-A. The 20-year-old outfielder crushed three home runs, added two doubles, drove in five runs, and scored eight times last week for the Wichita Wind Surge. Jenkins is now slashing .304/.414/.486 and continues to make a strong case for a late-season promotion. If he stays healthy, the former first-round pick could open 2026 at Triple-A and push for his MLB debut soon after. Dynasty managers should already have the rising star on their radar.

Walker Jenkins Homers, Gets on Base Four Times on Saturday

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Walker Jenkins went 3-for-5 with a walk, a home run, three runs scored, and a stolen base on Saturday for Double-A Wichita. The Twins' top-ranked prospect is slashing .299/.411/.485 with five home runs and nine steals in 36 games for the Wind Surge this season. The 20-year-old missed much of the season with an ankle injury, which has also likely pushed his MLB debut until 2026. However, he should get some at-bats at Triple-A to finish out the season, and it could be a springboard for a fruitful fantasy campaign in the big leagues next year, bringing power and speed along with one of the best hit tools in the minors.

Walker Jenkins Busy on Tuesday

Minnesota Twins outfielder Walker Jenkins went 3-for-5 with a double and a long ball during their contest against Double-A Amarillo on Tuesday evening. This was a nice breakout game for the top-ranked prospect in Minnesota as he went just 1-for-15 over his last five contests. However, prior to this brief skid, Jenkins held an elite .338/.457/.508 slash line with three doubles, one triple, two home runs, and three stolen bases over his last 17 games with Double-A. Through 32 games with Double-A Wichita this summer, Jenkins has posted an impressive .277/.397/.429 line. Despite his injury history, when healthy, Jenkins is one of the most productive bats in the minor leagues. He is worth closely monitoring as he should be given the call to Triple-A in the coming weeks.

Walker Jenkins Heating up at Double-A

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Walker Jenkins is beginning to find his swing after an injury-riddled first half. The top prospect in Minnesota missed nearly two months of action due to an ankle sprain. However, since returning to Double-A, Jenkins has been quite productive and could push for a promotion to Triple-A in the coming weeks. Over his last 20 games with Double-A Wichita, the No. 14-ranked prospect on MLB.com has posted an impressive .312/.432/.468 slash line with four doubles, one triple, two home runs, and three stolen bases. During this stretch, Jenkins has held a 16:15 K:BB. While recovering from his injury, he spent a brief eight-game assignment with Low-A Fort Myers, where he posted a .280/.419/.400 line. Given how quickly he has settled in, Jenkins could be in the mix to join St. Paul later in the second half.

Walker Jenkins Triples in Three-Hit Performance

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Walker Jenkins logged his second consecutive three-hit game on Saturday, going 3-for-5 with a triple and a run scored for Double-A Wichita. The Twins' top-ranked prospect (MLB No. 13) has shown well since returning to Double-A, hitting .302 with five doubles, a triple, and two home runs in 23 games for the Wind Surge. Equally as impressive, the 20-year-old has walked just as many times as he's struck out (19), good for a 17.6 percent rate for each stat. The former fifth-overall draft pick could see some time at Triple-A later this year in preparation for a major league debut sometime in 2026, and the left-handed slugger should eventually be a multi-category fantasy producer.

Walker Jenkins Goes Deep, Tallies Two Hits on Friday

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Walker Jenkins was busy during their contest against Double-A Tulsa on Friday afternoon. In this contest, Jenkins reached safely five times. He tallied two hits, including a home run, and drew three walks. He scored two runs and brought in four. Over his last 10 games, Jenkins has posted a strong .324/.488/.568 slash line with three doubles, two home runs, three stolen bases, and 10 RBI. The top-ranked prospect in the Minnesota system has battled injuries throughout his minor league career, but has been very productive when on the field. Through 16 total games with Double-A this summer, the No. 6-ranked prospect in the sport has held a .271/.419/.424 line with a 15:14 K:BB. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status as he could earn a taste of Triple-A later in the second half.

Walker Jenkins Steals Two Bases, Extends Hit Streak to Seven Games

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Walker Jenkins extended his current hit streak to seven games with a 1-for-4 day at the plate on Tuesday for Double-A Wichita, swiping two bags in the contest as well. Since returning from the injured list in early June, the Twins' top-ranked prospect (MLB No. 15) has put all of his offensive tools on display, hitting .292 (19-for-65) with three doubles, two home runs, nine steals, and a 15:18 BB:K in 19 games (11 at Double-A). It equates to an .811 OPS, .394 wOBA, and 138 wRC+ for the 20-year-old. The 2023 fifth-overall draft pick should see some time at Triple-A later this year, but unless he really goes on a tear, an MLB debut could have to wait until next season after he got such a late start to the campaign. The 6-foot-3 slugger needs to be stashed away in dynasty leagues with the multi-category fantasy potential he owns.
