Detroit Tigers infielder Ryan Kreidler has undergone core muscle surgery and is without a timetable for his return. Kreidler broke camp with the Tigers but went just 2-for-18 (.111) without an extra-base hit before being sent to Triple-A Toledo. While he's been injured for the Mud Hens, Kreidler at least produced a .300 average with three homers, two stolen bases, and a .982 OPS across 34 plate appearances at the minors' highest level. The 25-year-old has limped to a .165 average with just one homer and a .429 OPS across 102 big-league plate appearances in his brief career.
