Danish made three appearances for the White Sox in 2016, allowing two runs and six hits in 1 2/3 innings, but this will be his first big league start. The 22-year-old carries a respectable 3.15 ERA in eight outings for Triple-A Charlotte this season, though his low strikeout rate (4.53 K/9) is a cause for concern. Danish has only struck out 6.2 batters per nine in 452 minor league innings, so this is not a new problem, and he had a 4.80 ERA between Double-A and Triple-A last season. He should only be looked at in deep AL-only leagues and will likely be sent down after the start.
