While Kenley Jansen is the Dodgers closer, with Corey Knebel lurking behind him, Gonzalez should provide managers with elite ratios, solid strikeouts, and huge hold totals on a team that will have a large number of wins. Gonzalez could also potentially vulture a number of saves if Jansen falters and Knebel is unavailable to pitch on certain days. Managers in leagues that reward holds should be targeting Gonzalez as an immediate waiver wire add. Managers who have Jansen rostered may also wish to target Gonzalez as a handcuff if Knebel has already been rostered by league-mates.
