Will Craig May Be Headed To Asia

Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Will Craig is exploring opportunities with teams in Asia, which explains why he was a late scratch from Saturday night's Triple-A Indianapolis game, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported, citing general manager Ben Cherington. Craig had shown some power in the minor leagues with a .549 slugging percentage and .916 OPS this season, making him a potential corner infield option in deep mixed or NL-only formats, but at this point, fantasy managers can move on from the 26-year-old for now.

Will Craig Homers For First Major League Hit

Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Will Craig picked up his first major league hit on Thursday, as he went 1-for-3 with a home run in a 3-1 loss to the Giants. Craig was recalled to the Pirates after utility man Phillip Evans was placed on the injured list this week, and he got his first start on Thursday. He has shown some power in the minors with 54 home runs and a .415 slugging percentage over five seasons, and could be a potential corner infield option in deep mixed or NL-only formats.
