San Francisco Giants infielder Wilmer Flores (foot) was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a foot contusion. The Giants recalled Tristan Beck in a corresponding move. Flores will miss at least the next 10 days. The 31-year-old slashed .258/.324/.452 with seven home runs, 23 RBI, and 20 runs across 173 plate appearances. The IL stint comes at bad timing for Flores, who was on a five-game hitting streak and slashing .385/.500/.615 over 11 games in June.
