Bogdan Bogdanovic News
Atlanta Hawks forward Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) is going to be sidelined several weeks, according to general manager Travis Schlenk. It doesn't sound like the organization has given an exact timetable, but Bogdanovic will miss some time. Fantasy managers should stash him in an Injured Reserve spot until the Hawks reveal a firm timetable. Kevin Huerter and Cam Reddish are expected to benefit the most here, but Huerter is the better option between the two players.
Atlanta Hawks guard Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) has been diagnosed with an avulsion fracture in his right knee. It has also been reported his knee has some soft tissue inflammation and a bone bruise while there is no timetable for his return. This is a huge blow for the Hawks who are in the midst of a four-game skid and could be without Bogdanovic for weeks or even months. Kevin Huerter, Cam Reddish and De'Andre Hunter should be the biggest benefactors with Hunter having the most fantasy value currently. For Bogdanovic, these injuries could last months and it would be very tough to hold onto him without an IR spot. The Hawks are expected to update later this week with a timetable of his return.
Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) has been deemed out for the second half of Saturday's contest versus Charlotte due to a right knee injury. Bogdanovic departed after landing awkwardly while being fouled during the second quarter. Prior to heading to the locker room, Bogdanovic went for five points and one rebound across 11 minutes. Without him on the wing for the remainder of the outing, expect Atlanta to utilize Kevin Huerter and Cam Reddish as the team's primary sharpshooters. Check back for further updates on Bogdanovic's status, but his next chance to return to action comes Monday against the 76ers.
Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic was in great form on Monday against the Pistons, producing 17 points, five rebounds, and five assists off the bench. He shot 6-for-10 from the field, including a superb 5-for-7 from behind the arc. Bogdanovic's line also included his first block of the season. The Serbian sniper had a rough couple of games to start the season but he certainly hit his stride on Monday, and he will be looking to keep it up against Brooklyn next. The Nets have done well against opposing shooting guards at the start of the season, limiting them to 36.1 percent shooting.
