Chris Paul News
Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul ran the show against San Antonio on Saturday, totaling 31 points and 11 assists in a 128-118 overtime victory. He wasn't far away from a triple-double either, adding seven rebounds with one steal and two blocks in 39 minutes. The veteran was only 1-for-4 with the three-ball but shot a very good 12-for-20 overall with a perfect 6-for-6 record at the charity stripe. Following a long injury layoff, Paul hasn't needed anytime at all to regain his rhythm, going for four straight double-doubles and averaging 22.3 points and 10.8 assists since his return. With Devin Booker (groin) still not near a return, Paul is set to lead the Suns backcourt all on his own for the foreseeable future.
Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul (hip) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The veteran guard appears ready to get back on the court after missing the last seven games due to right hip soreness. His return should mean less playing time for both Duane Washington Jr. and Damion Lee. It's worth noting that the Suns are still without Landry Shamet (hip) for Sunday's game. That being said, Lee should still be able to provide some fantasy value until Shamet is ready to go.
Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul (hip) has been downgraded to out for Thursday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. The veteran guard will be forced to miss his sixth game in a row on Thursday. Luckily, Paul was able to return to practice on Wednesday, so hopefully he'll be able to play soon. Duane Washington Jr. should move into the starting five with Landry Shamet (hip) on the sideline as well. He should be a decent streaming option for Thursday's slate with the Suns banged up.
Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul (hip) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The veteran guard will miss at least one more game due to hip soreness. In his absence, Landry Shamet will move into the starting five for Monday's game. He's worth considering as a streaming option while Paul is out. Duane Washington Jr. should see increased minutes off the bench. He has struggled lately, so he can be avoided on Monday with Shamet starting in this game.
