Corey Brewer To Join Kings On 10-Day Contract

Small forward Corey Brewer is on the heels of having played for the Philadelphia 76ers on a pair of 10-day contracts, but after Philly decided not to extend him a deal for the remainder of the season, Brewer finds himself heading West to join the Sacramento Kings, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The Kings have added Harrison Barnes to the wing, but also subtracted Justin Jackson and Iman Shumpert. Brewer has appeared in seven games this year (three starts) and averaged 7.6 points per contest. Maybe most importantly, hell bring a veteran presence for a young Kings squad looking to secure a playoff bid.

Corey Brewer is Not Returning to 76ers

Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Corey Brewer will not be returning with the Sixers after his 10-day contract expired. He filled in well for Jimmy Butler, but has basically no role on the team now that Butler has returned. He's a free agent again and doesn't hold much fantasy value anyway. Brewer should be left on the waiver wire right now.

Corey Brewer Logs Team-High 33 Minutes In Win

Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard/small forward Corey Brewer drew the start during Mondays victory over the Houston Rockets, en route to logging a team-high 33 minutes in Jimmy Butlers place. Brewers assignment was to shadow James Harden, which is a rather fruitless endeavor. From a fantasy perspective, Brewer added 11 points, three rebounds, two steals and two blocks, but he likely cant be relied upon for that type of minutes total upon Butlers return.

Corey Brewer is on Track to Play Sunday

Oklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Corey Brewer (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's Game 1 matchup with the Utah Jazz. It sounds like Brewer is planning on suiting up, but this could be a game-time decision type of situation. OKC will wait and see how Brewer feels after warming up. He should see roughly 30 minutes or more of playing time if he's active, and should be owned in most DFS contests.

Corey Brewer Keeps Performing Well For Thunder

Oklahoma City Thunder shooting guard Corey Brewer continued his good run with the team on Thursday, as he recorded 14 points in 29 minutes against the Spurs. He shot 5-for-8 from the floor while picking up a couple of steals and dishing out three assists. Brewer is averaging 10.5 points per game in Oklahoma, which is a big improvement from his previous average output (4.5). He's also providing defensive energy, recording two steals per game in 28.2 minutes, and after building a brick house from deep in Houston and L.A., he's even hitting 41 percent of his treys, making it into an unbelievable turnaround.

Corey Brewer Scores 16 Points In Start

Oklahoma City Thunder shooting guard Corey Brewer got his third straight start on Monday night against the Sacramento Kings and did not disappoint. He scored 16 points on 4-for-8 shooting and hit all seven of his free-throw attempts. Brewer also contributed in other areas with six rebounds, two steals, one three, one assist and one block. Since getting put into the starting lineup, Brewer has been solid. In his three starts, he's averaging 15.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.3 steals per game. It should be noted that two of those games came against bottom feeders like the Phoenix Suns and the Kings, so these numbers should be taken with a grain of salt. However, if Brewer continues to play well in their upcoming games, then he can be considered fantasy viable. His next game is against the Atlanta Hawks, who are a bottom-10 defense, so Brewer might be set up for another good game.

Corey Brewer Scores 17 Points Against Suns

Oklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Corey Brewer had a solid game against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night. Brewer drew the start and made the most of it, playing 28 minutes and scoring 17 points. The veteran is averaging only nine points since being acquired by the Thunder, but with guard Terrance Ferguson likely out of the equation for the foreseeable future, Brewer may see more of a production increase as well as seeing more than the 21 minutes that he is averaging per tilt since joining his new squad. As a result, he could be a favorable addition to fantasy rosters in deeper leagues, and will likely be a popular DFS value play on Saturday when OKC meets up with the struggling San Antonio Spurs.

Corey Brewer Signs with Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder have officially signed guard/forward Corey Brewer. He will be with OKC on Saturday in Portland, but it is unclear if he'll play against the Trail Blazers. The veteran will provide defensive wing depth to the second unit. Terrance Ferguson, Josh Huestis and Alex Abrines are expected to lose some value and possibly playing time with the addition of Brewer. However, Brewer won't see enough minutes to be worth owning in standard leagues. He could be an option in deeper leagues, but it depends on his playing time.

Corey Brewer Reaches Buyout with Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly reached a buyout agreement with guard/forward Corey Brewer. Assuming he clears waivers, he'll be able to sign with any club of his choosing. It'll likely be a playoff-bound team, but that does not guarantee his value will increase much. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Brewer is seriously considering reuniting with his college coach, Billy Donovan, in Oklahoma City. Brewer is going to talk with other teams, too, but his best chance to see an extended role and increased playing time is in OKC. He likely won't be worth a look in standard leagues but could be an option in deeper leagues depending on where he lands.
