Danny Green News
Philadelphia 76ers guard Danny Green (calf) is out, as expected, for Wednesday's matchup against Atlanta. Green has a right calf strain, an injury he sustained during Game 3 a little less than a week ago. The veteran is anticipated to miss up to three weeks, but in the meantime, Furkan Korkmaz is presumed to see additional minutes as a member of the starting lineup. Korkmaz had 10 points throughout 25 minutes of work during the 103-100 loss on Monday night, so he should be considered a dart throw with upside in DFS formats for Game 5.
Philadelphia 76ers guard Danny Green (calf) will have an MRI on Sunday but isn't expected to suit up for Game 4 against the Hawks. Green strained his right calf in the first quarter during Friday's win over the Hawks. The veteran hasn't played well during the series, racking up just nine points while going 1-for-9 from deep throughout the first two games. His probable absence moving ahead will open up minutes for others to benefit, primarily for Furkan Korkmaz, who logged 27 minutes in Game 3 while finishing with 14 points and two steals.
Philadelphia 76ers forward Danny Green put together a solid effort on both ends of the floor in a 106-94 win over the Bulls on Monday. Green drilled four triples for 12 of his 14 points and recorded four steals on the other end of the court. He added four rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes. Green has at least one three-pointer and one steal in each of his last five games and should be considered a solid low-cost DFS option at the small forward spot. Green drilled four triples and blocked two shots in his most recent meeting with Wednesday's opponent, the Houston Rockets.
Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (rest) and guard Danny Green (hip) have been removed from the injury report ahead of Monday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. It sounds like Harris was rested over the weekend, so fantasy managers don't need to worry about a possible injury. Green was dealing with minor hip soreness, but it appears that he'll be fine going forward. Furkan Korkmaz and Matisse Thybulle will lose most of their streaming appeal with the return of these two players.
