Frank Kaminsky Has Career-High 31 Points In Win Over Portland
Phoenix Suns forward/center Frank Kaminsky came out of nowhere to drop a career-high 31 points in Wednesday's 119-109 win over Portland. He logged 32 points off the bench and shot 12-for-18 from the field with a 2-for-5 record from outside and a 5-for-5 effort at the line. The Winfield, Illinois native also recorded seven rebounds in the game with three assists, one block and one turnover. Kaminsky has had a couple of decent performances lately but ended up looking like prime Hakeem Olajuwon against the Blazers. This was a third consecutive game starting center Deandre Ayton (leg) missed and Kaminsky has now averaged 19 points during the stretch with six rebounds and one block. He'll be logging extended minutes until Ayton returns and that makes Kaminsky a pretty attractive fantasy piece right now.
Phoenix Suns center Frank Kaminsky scored 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting in Friday's game against the Detroit Pistons. In addition, he grabbed five rebounds and dished out one assist. Kaminsky was 3-for-4 from three. He'll face the Celtics on Sunday, who allow opponents to shoot the ninth-lowest percentage from three and to score the ninth-fewest points per game. Kaminsky was a late addition to the starting unit over Cam Johnson, who was moved to the bench. If he plays 20-plus minutes again on Sunday, he'll be an interesting DFS value play.
Phoenix Suns center/forward Frank Kaminsky will start Friday against the Pistons, with forward Cameron Johnson moving to the bench. Starting two centers is a strange move for the Suns, but against a Pistons team that tends to play big, it makes slightly more sense. Kaminsky is averaging 5.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in 12.9 minutes, so if this start leads to more minutes for the veteran, there could be some DFS appeal here. The question is if you're willing to risk that the late switch means that Kaminsky will play 20-plus minutes for just the third time this year.
Frank Kaminsky Has Been Cleared For Basketball Activites
Phoenix Suns center Frank Kaminsky (knee) has been cleared for basketball activities. "I'm ready to make a push towards playing again," Kaminsky said. It appears Kaminsky is fully healthy and ready to contribute in the Suns rotation. He was receiving decent playing time when Aron Baynes or Deandre Ayton were sidelined. However, it's unlikely that Kaminsky will hold reliable fantasy value while the Suns are healthy.
Phoenix Suns center Frank Kaminsky (knee) is making progress, but is still unable to do any on-court work, according to Jason Jones. Kaminsky missed the final 33 games before the league was suspended due to a right patella stress fracture. It's unclear when the NBA is going to return, but Kaminsky should be ready to play when it happens. However, Kaminsky is going to have to battle for playing time with Deandre Ayton and Aron Baynes. It doesn't sound like Kaminsky will have much fantasy value for the rest of the season.
Phoenix Suns center Frank Kaminsky (knee) is scheduled for a re-evaluation this week. He has been sidelined due to a right patella stress fracture, but the team is hopeful to get him back on the court by the middle of April. However, Deandre Ayton (ankle) should be fine by the time the NBA resumes play. Kaminsky could be cleared to practice by the end of the month, but he won't have much fantasy value with Ayton back healthy.
Phoenix Suns center Frank Kaminsky (knee) is going to be sidelined indefinitely and be re-evaluated in four weeks. He's missed each of the last three games with a right patella stress fracture. Aron Baynes and Dario Saric should benefit the most in the absence of Kaminsky. Baynes played fantastic on Friday and is putting himself back on the fantasy radar in most formats.
Phoenix Suns power forward/center Frank Kaminsky has been ruled out for Fridays game versus the New York Knicks due to knee soreness. Kaminskys absence marks his third consecutive game on the sidelines with Cameron Johnson and Cheick Diallo likely to continue absorbing his minutes, although neither presents a particularly appealing DFS option. After starting 13 of 14 contests from Nov. 19-Dec. 16, Kaminsky has seen his minutes dwindle significantly, and he can be avoided in season-long formats until he shows signs of reclaiming his former role in the offense.
Phoenix Suns forward Frank Kaminsky (knee) will be available for Monday's game against the Denver Nuggets. Kaminsky has been hit-or-miss this season in terms of fantasy production. Deandre Ayton (ankle) is sidelined, so Kaminsky should see an increased workload. However, he's averaged 12 minutes over the last two games. Fantasy owners should look elsewhere for help as Kaminsky doesn't seem too reliable.
Phoenix Suns forward Frank Kaminsky (knee) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets. It's a back-to-back set, so the Suns might be more cautious here. Dario Saric (leg) is questionable for this contest as well. Kelly Oubre Jr., Mikal Bridges, and Cameron Johnson could be looking at larger roles here. Oubre has the most fantasy value out of the bunch.
