Furkan Korkmaz Enjoys Productive Offensive Performance

Philadelphia 76ers guard Furkan Korkmaz has developed into a dependable reserve for head coach Brett Brown this season, and he was impressive against the Pistons on Wednesday. In a team-high 21 minutes off the bench, he scored 17 points on 5-for-7 shooting from the field, 3-for-4 from deep and he buried four of his five free-throws. Korkmaz grabbed four rebounds, dished out two assists and was a plus-15 in a 124-106 victory for a Sixers squad that has underachieved in 2019-20. The 22-year-old has knocked down 42.9% of his treys over his past 10 games. With this in mind, he is someone who deserves consideration for those looking to add shooting to fill out your roster once the season continues.

Furkan Korkmaz Comes Off Bench To Score 17 Points

Philadelphia 76ers guard Furkan Korkmaz came off the bench in Saturday's 119-98 loss to the Bucks and offered 17 points, five rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes of playing time. The 22-year-old has been a polarizing player in terms of his stats recently. This includes performances with 31 and 34 points and another with a huge zero. Because the second-year player cannot seem to gain traction and be a consistent contributor on this team, it's hard to assess his fantasy value. With Ben Simmons (back) injured during Saturday's game, Korkmaz may be asked to do more. Even then, it's still hard to trust him on a nightly basis.

Furkan Korkmaz Goes Scoreless After Sudden Hot Streak

Philadelphia 76ers guard Furkan Korkmaz put up a goose egg in Tuesday's 110-103 win over the Clippers after a two-game stretch that saw him pour in 65 points off the bench. For those who picked up Korkmaz, it was extra disappointing to see the 22-year-old go scoreless, especially when he was in the starting lineup. The final stat line for the 2016 draft pick was zero points, one rebound and one steal on 0-for-5 shooting from the field and 0-for-4 shooting from long distance in a total 23 minutes of play. It can only go up from here for the shooting guard, but consistency remains a key issue. The 76ers will now enter the All-Star break, and Korkmaz's chance to redeem himself will come on Feb. 20 against the Nets.
