Gary Harris News
Orlando Magic guard Gary Harris will slide into the starting five for Saturday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Both Terrence Ross (back) and James Ennis III (calf) have been ruled out for this game. Harris will have a much higher usage than normal with the Magic banged up. He'll be a sneaky streaming choice and DFS option for Saturday's slate.
Orlando Magic shooting guard Gary Harris led the team with 19 points and had seven assists and six rebounds in Wednesday's victory over Cleveland, shooting 9-for-16 from the field with a 1-for-4 record from downtown. The veteran also posted one block and finished without a single turnover in 34 minutes. It's a bummer for Harris to go from a contender to a rebuilding team, but at least he gets to enjoy a bigger role with more touches on offense. He's currently one of only a couple of experienced guys on the team, so the 26-year-old is expected to lead the troops both on and off the court. Next up he'll play a couple of games against the Grizzlies, who have been kind to opposing shooting guards this season by giving up 23.8 points per 48 minutes.
Orlando Magic guard Gary Harris (rest) and Chuma Okeke (hip) are suiting up for Wednesday's contest against the Bulls. Harris returns after a one-game absence due to rest, meaning Dwayne Bacon will go back to a bench role. Okeke is dealing with a hip ailment and will be on a minutes' restriction once again- knocking some shine off of his potential DFS value.
Orlando Magic guard Gary Harris (groin) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. The veteran guard will be rested here since he is dealing with a minor groin issue. The Magic aren't playing for much right now, so it wouldn't be shocking to see this happen more often. R.J. Hampton should get a strong look on Monday, while Terrence Ross will have favorable streaming appeal.
