Miami Heat forward Haywood Highsmith was thrust into a much bigger role in Game 5 as Gabe Vincent (ankle) had to sit out with a sprained ankle. In his 36 minutes off of the bench, Highsmith finished with 15 points, two rebounds, one assist, and two steals while shooting 6-for-9 from the floor and 3-for-4 from three. The 26-year-old has been thrown into some big games whenever the team needs either a spark or a fill-in due to injuries. Normally, he responds well with timely buckets and above-average defense. He did the same on Thursday but it wasn't enough for a win.

Miami Heat forward Haywood Highsmith (knee) is probable ahead of Saturday's clash with the New York Knicks. Jimmy Butler (ankle) didn't play in Game 2, resulting in Highsmith getting 15 minutes of work. Butler has a chance of missing another one, with Caleb Martin (back) also drawing a questionable tag for Game 3. If those guys don't play, Duncan Robinson is the favorite to move into the starting lineup. However, Highsmith could benefit DFS managers by gaining an expanded role from the bench.
