Golden State Warriors forward/center JaMychal Green won't start on Monday night. The 32-year-old started a few games during this series. He had 15 points in Game 2. However, Green finished with just two points in Game 3. Gary Payton II will enter the starting lineup, meaning Green will have almost no fantasy value.

Golden State Warriors forward JaMychal Green received the start ahead of Kevon Looney during Thursday's Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers. It was a bit surprising given how well Looney has been rebounding lately. However, the Warriors wanted to go with a different look and it worked on Thursday. Green finished with 15 points, two assists, and one rebound in 13 minutes of action. It sounds like Looney wasn't feeling 100 percent, so that's the main reason why Green moved into the starting unit. Although, it worked well, so possibly the Warriors continue to ride with Green as the starter going forward.

Now, Green is dealing with a leg infection that could cause him to miss more time. The organization announced that they plan to re-evaluate Green in one week. Normally, his absence wouldn't make a huge impact on the rotation. Although, the Warriors are shorthanded with Jonathan Kuminga and James Wiseman also sidelined. That being said, Anthony Lamb could have some deep league streaming appeal while the Warriors are banged up.

With the latter struggling for form this season, Lamb looks like the better option of the two, and he has been a nice addition to the rotation this month, averaging 9.8 points with 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals. He could really explode with bigger minutes, but only time will tell if the opportunity arises.

Oklahoma City Thunder forward JaMychal Green is expected to be moved before the beginning of next season. The veteran forward was traded from the Denver Nuggets to the Thunder on draft day. Thunder general manager Sam Presti mentioned that the Thunder are going to try and find a new team for Green. The 32-year-old is unlikely to have much of a role on the rebuilding Thunder roster. Regardless, Green isn't expected to have fantasy value on any team he lands.

The Nuggets have traded forward JaMychal Green and a protected 2027 first-round pick to the Thunder. In exchange, Denver will get the No. 30 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, along with two future second-round selections. Green, who averaged only 6.4 points and 4.2 rebounds last season, is expected to opt into his $8.2 million player option. OKC has space for that type of contract, so the Nuggets will get some much-needed wiggle room from a fiscal sense. Nonetheless, unless the 31-year-old receives a consistent role in the lineup for the Thunder, his fantasy outlook isn't too promising. However, Green may get a few starts here or there during the 2022-23 campaign and could receive interest as a streaming candidate as a result.

Denver Nuggets power forward/center JaMychal Green (hip) has been cleared to be active for Tuesday's game against the Clippers. Green has recently battled a left hip contusion, as his role in the Nuggets' offense has dwindled during March; over his last nine games, he has yet to exceed six field-goal attempts. With DeMarcus Cousins emerging among Denver's second unit, Green figures to primarily play a defensive role in the frontcourt, zapping most of his fantasy appeal.

The Denver Nuggets will have forward JaMychal Green (wrist) in their rotation for Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards. Fellow forward Zeke Nnaji (knee), meanwhile, will be out for the game. Green logged 23 minutes in the team's last game on Monday. He scored 10 points and grabbed eight boards. Nnaji has only appeared in one game over the past month, but it sounds as if he's trending toward a return. He had been listed as questionable for Wednesday's game until about an hour before tip-off.

Green last suited up Jan. 11, having delivered a rare scoreless performance during his seventh start of the year. With Jeff Green (quad) getting the green light to play, Aaron Gordon and Zeke Nnaji lose any added DFS appeal that may have been hovering with a JaMychal absence. Green has averaged just 14.9 minutes per outing this year, a total that is likely to keep him on the waiver wire in the vast majority of season-long formats.

Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (hamstring) and forward/center JaMychal Green (ankle, knee) will be available Wednesday night against the Thunder. The latter returns from a three-game absence. Oklahoma City is a weak defensive team that also doesn't rebound the ball well, so Gordon finds himself in a good spot to perform. Green is logging backup minutes and doesn't really provide anything for fantasy managers as long as Nikola Jokic stays healthy.
