Justin Holiday Last 10 Games
Justin Holiday News
Indiana Pacers forward Justin Holiday (ankle) is optimistic that he'll be able to suit up for the season opener next Wednesday. He injured his ankle last Friday and is almost certainly going to miss the final two preseason games. The Pacers don't have a timetable for his return, but believe he should be able to play around the season opener. Holiday should have a consistent role in the rotation, but he probably isn't someone worth rostering in 12-team fantasy formats.
Indiana Pacers forward Justin Holiday scored a team-high 22 points on 7-for-15 shooting in Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. In addition, he grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists. Holiday was 7-for-13 from three and also posted two steals. He'll face the Utah Jazz on Sunday, who allow opponents to shoot just the fifth-lowest percentage from three and to score the third-fewest points per game. Holiday's Friday performance was really encouraging, but all signs point to things not going so smoothly on Sunday.
Indiana Pacers guard/forward Justin Holiday had a great bench outing in Wednesday's win over Houston, shooting 6-for-9 from the field and 3-for-4 from outside to score a season-high 20 points. He shot 5-for-5 from the line and added five rebounds and one steal while finishing with a game-high plus-22 rating. Holiday is coming off the bench, but he is logging a lot of minutes with T.J. Warren (foot) on the sidelines and other injury issues. The Pacers also lost Doug McDermott (ankle) in Wednesday's contest, so there will be even more minutes available for the bench guys in the upcoming games. Starting from Saturday against Phoenix, the Pacers will get a whopping six games in nine days.
Indiana Pacers forward Justin Holiday is set to hit the open market this winter. The organization has made it clear that they want to keep Holiday around going forward. The two sides have already spoken, but free agency is most likely still a few weeks away. Holiday should receive plenty of offers after the year he had in Indiana. He might actually be able to increase his fantasy value if he gets more playing time elsewhere.
