Kenneth Lofton Jr. Signs With Chicago

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, free-agent forward/center Kenneth Lofton Jr. signed a one-year deal with the Bulls. Lofton has already played for three teams in his first two seasons in the league. However, he has averaged just 4.8 points in 45 games with the Grizzlies, 76ers, and Jazz. While he has a chance to earn a spot on the Bulls' opening night roster, he'll likely spend most of his time on the bench if he makes the team.

Kenneth Lofton Jr. Posts Another Strong Game

Memphis Grizzlies forward Kenneth Lofton Jr. grabbed another double-double despite taking a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday afternoon. The young power forward ended the game with 24 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals while shooting 9-for-12 from the floor and 2-for-4 from deep. He did struggle taking care of the ball in this game as he turned it over seven times but that seems to be a common theme in summer league as everyone is forcing offense to impress scouts and coaches. Lofton should see some minutes here and there next season but is far from the fantasy radar for now.

Kenneth Lofton Jr. Records Four Steals

Memphis Grizzlies forward Kenneth Lofton Jr. was doing a bit of everything during Monday's Summer League matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Lofton is looking to lock down a rotation spot for himself ahead of next season. Well, performances like this are certainly going to help his case. On Monday, Lofton finished with 15 points, six rebounds, four assists, four steals, and one block in 28 minutes. The 20-year-old only played 7.3 minutes per game in 20 contests with Memphis last season. Lofton has shown he has the potential to be a legitimate contributor, so we'll see where he ends up in the rotation.

Kenneth Lofton Jr. Picks Up 20-Point Double-Double Versus Philadelphia

Memphis Grizzlies power forward Kenneth Lofton Jr. had a nice outing in the Summer League against Philadelphia on Monday, leading the team to a 94-92 victory with a game-high 21 points, while adding 13 rebounds to his tally. He also collected four assists and two steals during a busy 30-minute shift. Lofton Jr.'s 6-for-15 shooting left an ugly stain on his stat line, but he was an impressive 2-for-4 with the three-ball. The 20-year-old was one of the stars of the G League last season, and he will look to make strides in the NBA next season as well. During his rookie campaign, Lofton Jr. averaged only 7.3 minutes of action and played in 24 games. However, he's already demonstrated great potential by becoming the first player in NBA history to put up at least 40 points and 10 rebounds in his first career start since the league began tracking starts in 1970-71.
