According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Warriors will convert the contract of guard Lester Quinones to a standard deal. The two-way player has appeared in 19 games for Golden State this season. He got off to a slow start. Yet, Quinones is beginning to get a consistent role in the rotation and has averaged 7.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in his nine games in February. While he still has a way to go before earning a spot on most fantasy rosters, there could be streaming opportunities somewhere down the line.

The 22-year-old combo guard is looking at a good opportunity to make the main roster after averaging 21.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.0 steals per game across seven appearances. Quinones only played in four games for the team last season but appeared in 31 games for their G League affiliate and put up 21.8 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.

The 22-year-old struggled with his shot this time and finished only 8-for-23 from the field with a 2-for-10 record from deep, but he did a very good job in getting to the free-throw line and went 13-for-17 with his efforts there. Quinones also had seven rebounds and five assists in the game. In five Summer League appearances, Quinones has averaged 23.4 points with 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists, and his chances of landing on the Golden State roster for the 2023-24 campaign seem stronger with each outing.
