Former Cleveland Cavaliers center Olivier Sarr is headed overseas after signing a two-year deal with Real Madrid through the 2027-28 season. The 27-year-old spent most of his NBA time with Oklahoma City before a two-way stint in Cleveland, and Madrid added him for frontcourt depth with Usman Garuba recovering from a ruptured left Achilles. Sarr averaged 4.7 points and 3.4 rebounds while shooting 39.1 percent from three across 50 NBA games, and he was productive enough in the G-League to earn another look. He held no standalone fantasy value on a two-way deal, so his exit does not change Cleveland's fantasy outlook. The more relevant fantasy name remains his younger brother, Washington Wizards center Alexandre Sarr, who is recovering from offseason foot surgery.

Forward Olivier Sarr has rejoined the Oklahoma City Thunder on a new deal. The 24-year-old has signed a two-way deal with the team on Monday. Sarr spent most of his time in the G-League last season. He made nine appearances for the Thunder last season, he averaged 4.0 points and 3.4 rebounds across 12.7 minutes per game. Before that, Sarr averaged 7.0 points and 4.0 rebounds through 22 games with the Thunder in 2021. The expectation is that he'll spend most of his time in the G-League. At best, Sarr will get minutes in the teens, which probably won't be enough to warrant rostering in fantasy leagues.

The Trail Blazers signed free-agent center Olivier Sarr to an Exhibit 10 deal. The 23-year-old spent most of last season in OKC, averaging 7.0 points and 4.2 minutes in 22 games. He has a chance to make the regular season roster, although he must prove his worth throughout training camp. With that said, even if Sarr makes the cut, he'll likely remain behind Jusuf Nurkic, Drew Eubanks, and Trendon Watford on the depth chart during the season. The team waived center Norvel Pelle in a corresponding move.
