Atlanta Hawks forward Solomon Hill (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. This is not shocking considering Hill was forced to exit early during Sunday's game. Bogdan Bogdanovic (ankle) and Cam Reddish (wrist) are listed as questionable for this contest. That means, Kevin Huerter could be asked to play heavy minutes on Monday. He'll be worth using in DFS contests, assuming the Hawks remain shorthanded.
Danilo Gallinari, Solomon Hill Will Rest During Wednesday’s Game
Atlanta Hawks power forwards Danilo Gallinari (rest) and Solomon Hill (rest) have both been held out of action for Wednesday's preseason contest against the Cavaliers. Head coach Nate McMillan made the call to focus on younger players for the early-season warmup contest, allowing his veterans to get some rest. John Collins draws the start at the four, with the depth behind him relatively thin; Jalen Johnson stands to get increased run after playing 12 minutes in the preseason opener. Of the two, Gallinari is the more viable season-long commodity, particularly after shooting 42.1 percent from behind the arc after the All-Star break last season.
Memphis Grizzlies small forward Solomon Hill replaced Jonas Valanciunas (illness) in the starting lineup on Monday against Indiana, and he finished his first start of the season with 22 points on 9-for-14 shooting. He shot a very good 4-for-6 from downtown and played a big part on the defensive end as well with three steals. Hill added six rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes. The Grizzlies continue their season against the struggling Bulls, who are a mediocre defensive team. However, they do have a good record against small forwards, allowing the fifth-fewest points per 48 minutes to the position this season.
Solomon Hill Grabs Eight Rebounds In Sunday's Start
New Orleans Pelicans small forward Soloman Hill got the start on Sunday for E'Twaun Moore (leg) and did not provide much on the offensive end, but managed to haul in eight rebounds in the win. Hill was 2-for-2 from the floor and added a make from three to score five points and added two turnovers to his line. Hill received the start as initially, Moore was to miss this one, but Moore actually did enter the game in the first half but played limited minutes. Hill may continue to start on Monday against the Celtics, so keep an eye on this situation as it develops.
New Orleans Pelicans guard/forward Solomon Hill (hamstring) could play on Sunday against the Boston Celtics. He's been out for the season, but there is a chance that he suits up against the Celtics. He's been running since December, but he'll obviously have heavy limits if he joins the rotation. Hill won't be an asset in fantasy for a couple of weeks due to the minute limits. He could take away minutes from Darius Miller, but it's unclear when Hill will actually take the court.
