Troy Brown Jr. News
Chicago Bulls small forward Troy Brown Jr. (ankle) remains unavailable for Thursday's game versus the Raptors due to an ankle sprain. Brown has not suited up since April 19, with his absence on the wing leaving ample playing time up for grabs between Garrett Temple, Denzel Valentine and Patrick Williams. Even when healthy, Brown averaged just 5.5 points across 18.2 minutes per game since his acquisition by the Bulls. Still just 21 years old, Brown figures to be a fantasy factor at some point in the future, but his appeal for the 2020-21 year is all but out of sand in the hourglass.
Chicago Bulls forward Troy Brown Jr. (ankle) is out for Thursday's game against the Hornets. Brown will miss his second consecutive contest on Thursday as he deals with a sprained ankle. Denzel Valentine will see added minutes on the wing in Brown's absence against Charlotte.
Washington Wizards shooting guard/small forward Troy Brown is expected to "get some opportunities" during Wednesday's game versus Miami with Russell Westbrook (rest) and Raul Neto (groin) unavailable. Brown has not been a factor in the Wizards' rotation over the past two games despite having been cleared from the league's health and safety protocols. With his last action coming Jan. 9, it's difficult to buy into Brown as a legitimate DFS asset Wednesday, although he's a name to keep an eye on moving forward after having averaged 10.4 points and 5.6 boards per game last season.
Washington Wizards forward Troy Brownwas unable to land his team their first victory in Orlando. He posted subpar shooting splits in 29 minutes of play. Brown went just 5-for-14 from the field and 2-for-7 from beyond the arc. After averaging 18.5 points over his last two games, it was a lackluster showing from the third-year pro. Also, his plus/minus of minus-24 was a team-low. Despite this dud, Brown has performed admirably since the season's resumption. He has reached the 17-point mark in three of his last four outings.
