Troy Daniels News
Los Angeles Lakers guardTroy Danielsmade his case to get more playing time with a solid performance against the Utah Jazz on Friday night. Daniels, who may be best remembered for his game-winning three-point shot in the 2014 playoffs for the Houston Rockets, was tied for the fourth-most minutes on the Lakers in the win and made the most of them. He scored 15 points along with three rebounds and one steal. This was a better stat line than his teammatesQuinn CookandKentavious Caldwell-Popewere able to produce. Fantasy owners in 10 and 12-team leagues may want to keep him on their watch list for now, but for owners in deeper leagues, it can't hurt to make a speculative add at what could be the third-best offensive option for the Lakers this season.
Phoenix Suns shooting guard Troy Daniels got hot from deep on Friday when he connected on six of 10 shots from beyond the arc to record 18 points on the night. Daniels added four rebounds without committing a single turnover in 32 minutes of action. Daniels is putting up 15.3 points with 4.0 makes from downtown in his last three games and until the Suns get healthy, he is worth an add as a streamer or cheap flier in DFS.
Phoenix Suns guard Troy Daniels was one of the couple bright spots in Thursday's loss when his club managed to score just nine points in the first quarter that led to a 22-point loss to the Trail Blazers. Daniels was 5-for-9 from the floor for 15 points and added two makes from three with three rebounds and an assist in 22 minutes. Daniels is averaging 14.0 points with three makes from three on 50.0% shooting in his last couple of games and if Devin Booker (hamstring) does not suit up for Friday's contest against the Miami Heat, Daniels is worth a look in DFS.
Phoenix Suns guard Troy Daniels (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Devin Booker (hand), T.J. Warren (knee), and Elfrid Payton (knee) have already been ruled out for this contest. Daniels has been playing well with most of the Suns best players sidelined. However, he played just 14 minutes in the loss to the Warriors on Sunday. Shaquille Harrison would see additional playing time if Daniels is unable to suit up on Tuesday.
