Andy Lee Fantasy

The Arizona Cardinals have signed veteran punter Andy Lee to their roster after he was cut by the Carolina Panthers last week. While this move seemingly has little fantasy relevance, Bob McManaman explains that between three and five of the Cardinals losses last season were a result of a botched snap, a poor punt, or a missed field goal. If those mistakes had been cut down, the Cardinals defense/special teams would have scored a lot higher, and the team as a whole would likely have experienced more success. By adding Lee and kicker Phil Dawson, the Cardinals have put in some experienced special teams players and will hope that these new additions cut down the costly mistakes made by the team in the previous season.
