The Baltimore Ravens re-signed cornerback Arthur Maulet to an undisclosed two-year deal on Tuesday. In his first year with the Ravens in 2023, Maulet had 37 tackles (32 solo), a career-high-tying two sacks, five tackles for loss, one interception, five passes defensed and two fumble recoveries in 14 regular-season games (three starts) as the team's nickel cornerback. The 30-year-old entered the league in 2017 with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis. Maulet will return to Baltimore for another two years to give them secondary depth. In his seven NFL seasons, Maulet has tallied 220 tackles (164 solo), five sacks, 17 tackles for loss, eight QB hits, four interceptions, 16 passes defended, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries (one returned for a touchdown) in 82 games (23 starts).
The Pittsburgh Steelers re-signed cornerback Arthur Maulet to an undisclosed two-year deal on Saturday, according to a source. The 28-year-old will return to Pittsburgh after recording a career-high 47 tackles (38 solo), five tackles for loss and one forced fumble in 16 games (two starts) in his first year with the Steelers in 2021. Maulet spent the previous two seasons with the New York Jets. He will compete for nickel duties yet again in 2022. Maulet originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis with the New Orleans Saints in 2017.
