Bryant Koback Leads Seahawks With 87 Scrimmage Yards

Seattle Seahawks running back Bryant Koback rushed for 32 yards on six attempts and added another 43 yards on three receptions in Thursday's preseason win over the Minnesota Vikings. Koback got into the game in the second half and was not involved in any scores but recorded the longest play of the game, catching a swing pass from quarterback Drew Lock and taking it up the sideline for a 32-yard gain. After spending all of 2022 on the Vikings practice squad, the second-year player is likely hoping his performance against his former team will help secure him a spot on the Seahawks roster. Even in the deepest fantasy leagues, Koback is not relevant.

Seahawks Add Bryant Koback

Free-agent running back Bryant Koback signed with the Seahawks, the team announced on Wednesday. The 25-year-old had a stellar collegiate career, rushing for 4,026 yards and totaling 52 touchdowns. However, he wasn't selected in the 2022 NFL Draft but was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Vikings last offseason, where he spent the year on the practice squad. That said, Koback will face plenty of competition in Seattle, so his fantasy outlook isn't bright heading into the 2023-24 campaign, even if he's in the lineup come Week 1.

Bryant Koback Racks Up 41 Rushing Yards, Finds End Zone

Minnesota Vikings running back Bryant Koback carried the ball 14 times for 41 yards and found the end zone in Saturday's preseason finale against the Denver Broncos. Koback also added two receptions for 14 yards on just two targets. Joining the Vikings as an undrafted free agent, the 24-year-old has a lot of talent ahead of him on the depth chart, as Dalvin Cook, Alexander Mattison, Kene Nwangwu, and Ty Chandler all figure to be ahead of him for playing time. He is well off the fantasy radar as he likely will not make the team's 53-man roster on Tuesday's deadline.
