Tory Horton Still Waiting on a Clear Role in Seattle

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tory Horton is still interesting enough to hold in deeper dynasty leagues, but he needs more than last year's touchdown burst to become a real redraft target. Horton caught only 13 passes for 161 yards in eight games as a rookie, though five of those catches went for touchdowns, and he added a 95-yard punt-return score before a shin injury sent him to injured reserve. That kind of splash keeps him from being forgotten, especially with a full training-camp return expected. The problem is the receiving role. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp, and Rashid Shaheed are the names on Seattle's official depth chart, and Shaheed is also listed first on both return spots. RotoBaller has Horton buried outside the top 260 overall and around WR107, with no listed ADP, so the market is not asking managers to pay much. He is fine as a dynasty bench hold, but redraft managers can wait until camp reports show an actual offensive role.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Remains an Elite Wide Receiver Option Entering 2026

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was arguably the best pass-catcher in football in 2025, recording 119 catches for 1,793 yards and 10 touchdowns on 163 targets across 17 games. The 24-year-old was remarkably efficient, averaging 3.61 yards per route run while seeing 35.8% of the Seahawks' total targets. Entering 2026, Smith-Njigba once again profiles as the clear number one option in a Seattle passing game that lacks another obvious high-volume target-earner. The Seahawks threw the ball at the third-lowest rate in the NFL in 2025 but may be forced to turn to the air more often this season after losing running back Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency. With Smith-Njigba entering the prime of his career, he has a legitimate case to be the number one overall pick in redraft leagues ahead of 2026.

George Holani Unlikely to Factor into 2026 Drafts

With Zach Charbonnet tearing his ACL in the Seahawks' divisional round win over the 49ers, Seattle bumped 2024 undrafted running back George Holani into a primary backup role behind Kenneth Walker III for the rest of its Super Bowl-winning playoff run. While Walker would go on to win the Super Bowl MVP and earn a top-of-market deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, Holani saw a combined five carries for 10 yards in the Conference Championship and Super Bowl, and while early offseason rumblings had him in play for a potential starting role in 2026, he's now far more likely to continue serving as little more than an NFL depth piece and special teams contributor. Seattle spent its first-round pick on Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price, and Charbonnet is reportedly progressing well, even seen on the field performing a light workout in the final practice of minicamp. At RotoBaller's RB106, Holani has little chance of carving out any true dynasty relevance, and he should be viewed as a non-factor in 2026 redraft leagues.

Jadarian Price  • RB  •  Seahawks

Is Jadarian Price at Risk of Being Overdrafted in 2026?

After three years of sharing a backfield with one of the nation's best players, 2026 first-round pick Jadarian Price could find himself again splitting work for the Seattle Seahawks. The obvious difference is that, while he was the clear second option behind Doak Walker Award winner and third overall pick Jeremiyah Love, the torn ACL sustained by incumbent Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet during the team's Super Bowl run has left the door open for Price to claim lead back responsibilities to begin his rookie season, and perhaps caused too steep a rise in his ADP. While sharing time with eventual Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III in 2025, Charbonnet finished sixth in the league with 12 rushing touchdowns and was one of the NFL's most active backs near the goal line. With reports indicating that he is progressing well in his recovery, he could be back earlier than expected to reclaim the bulk of the team's most high-value touches and harm Price's chances of living up to his lofty expectations. With Charbonnet in the final year of his rookie deal, there is plenty to be excited about in Price's dynasty future, but with the veteran's uncertain status to begin the year creating what could prove to be too wide a gap in their ADPs, Price is at risk of being overdrafted in 2026. One year after Walker finished as the RB22 with Klint Kubiak running the offense, Price heads into his rookie season as RotoBaller's RB24.

Zach Charbonnet a Late-Round Target in 2026 Drafts

Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet (knee) continues to recover from the ACL tear he suffered in the team's divisional round win over the 49ers, and by all accounts, he is progressing well. Charbonnet was spotted doing light work on a side field during the final practice of minicamp, and a scheduled check-up on the knee in late July could provide the green light for a more extensive workload at the start of training camp. The Seahawks spent their 2026 first-round pick on Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price, but Charbonnet is no stranger to backfield competition. Sharing work with last season's eventual Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, Charbonnet touched the ball more than 200 times and was given many of the team's most high-value opportunities. His 50 red-zone carries in 2025 were the ninth most in the league, while only four players had more attempts from within the five-yard line, helping him to finish the year with 12 rushing touchdowns. If he can return to anything close to full health, there is no reason to believe he couldn't handle an even larger role in this offense, and with an ADP currently outside the top 45 at the position, Charbonnet is a player to target in the late rounds of 2026 drafts, particularly in leagues with IR spots.

Rashid Shaheed  • WR  •  Seahawks

Rashid Shaheed has "Big Spring," a Bigger Role Coming in 2026?

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Seattle Seahawks speedy wide receiver Rashid Shaheed had a "major spring," and he and quarterback Sam Darnold are "hitting it off." The Seahawks are expected to employ more motions and shifts this year under new offensive coordinator Brian Fleury, and they are planning to give Shaheed more work in the underneath and intermediate areas of the field. The 27-year-old former undrafted free agent out of Weber State could be a big-time player for the Seahawks in 2026 after he caught 15 of 26 targets for 188 yards and no touchdowns in nine regular-season games (four starts) after the Seahawks acquired him midseason from the New Orleans Saints. Shaheed had only three grabs on 10 targets for 78 yards in three postseason games, so he wasn't exactly a big part of last year's offense. Apparently that could change under Fleury, making the speedy wideout a potential late-round sleeper in fantasy drafts this fall. RotoBaller currently has him ranked as the No. 59 fantasy WR. In nine starts with the Saints before being traded in 2025, Shaheed had 44 receptions for 499 yards and two scores on 66 targets.

Jadarian Price  • RB  •  Seahawks

Jadarian Price Won't Have High-Volume Role Right Away

The Seattle Seahawks didn't draft rookie running back Jadarian Price with the 32nd overall pick in the first round in April with the thought that he'd become a high-volume starter right away, according to Brady Henderson of ESPN. It was not a surprise that Price worked with Seattle's No. 1 offense behind George Holani during offseason workouts, and he will share time with Holani and newcomer Emanuel Wilson as the Seahawks wait for Zach Charbonnet (Achilles) to return. It remains to be seen how much Price will be able to contribute in the passing game after he finished his three-year collegiate career at Notre Dame with only 15 receptions for 162 yards and three touchdowns in 41 games played. Price looked capable as a pass-catcher during the spring, but his ability to carve out a role on passing downs could be the difference between him having RB2 upside in fantasy and just being a hard-to-trust RB3/flex option in 2026 in his rookie campaign. Price's long-term upside is clearly higher than both Holani and Wilson, but Charbonnet's impending return could make things messy for Price in terms of guaranteed volume in his first year with Seattle.

Elijah Arroyo  • TE  •  Seahawks

Elijah Arroyo Carries Stash Appeal for Dynasty Rebuilders

A second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Seattle Seahawks tight end Elijah Arroyo finished his rookie season with just 15 receptions for 179 yards and one touchdown on 26 targets across 13 games (four starts). The 23-year-old spent the majority of the year behind Seahawks tight end AJ Barner on the team's depth chart at the position. Seattle also recorded the NFL's third-lowest pass rate as a team in 2025, which likely held down the fantasy production of all of its pass-catchers outside of star wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba. While Barner remains with the Seahawks entering 2026, Arroyo is a more explosive athlete and may be the higher-upside pass-catcher of the two. Seattle may also be forced to turn to the air a bit more in 2026, as the team was forced to rework its backfield over the offseason. For dynasty managers in the midst of a rebuild, buying low on Arroyo could be a move that pays dividends long-term.

Emanuel Wilson  • RB  •  Seahawks

Emanuel Wilson May Be Undervalued by Current Redraft ADP

After spending the first three years of his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers, running back Emanuel Wilson is entering his first season with the Seattle Seahawks in 2026. Wilson was a productive player while mostly playing a backup role in Green Bay in 2025, recording 595 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 140 touches across 17 games. Entering 2026, the Seahawks running back room is in a state of flux after losing Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency. The team used its first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft on running back Jadarian Price, and steady veteran Zach Charbonnet (knee) will be part of the backfield mix once he fully recovers from his torn ACL. However, Charbonnet may miss the start of the regular season, and Price may not be ready to take on a RB1 workload right away as a rookie. As the RB62 by average draft position in redraft leagues, Wilson is a low-cost flier for fantasy managers who could be a significant piece of his team's offense in the early portion of 2026.

AJ Barner  • TE  •  Seahawks

Should Dynasty Managers Look to Sell High on AJ Barner?

Across 17 games in 2025, Seattle Seahawks tight end AJ Barner (undisclosed) recorded 52 catches for 519 yards and six touchdowns on 68 targets. The 24-year-old started all 17 games for Seattle and emerged as a key red zone target for Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold, finishing second on the team in touchdown catches behind only superstar wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba. However, there may be reason to believe that Barner's production will regress in 2026. For one, the tight end underwent two different undisclosed offseason surgeries that kept him from participating in OTAs. Secondly, Barner averaged just four targets per game in his breakout campaign a season ago and could see his target volume fall even further if the Seahawks choose to feature 2025 second-round tight end Elijah Arroyo more heavily this season. In dynasty formats, managers may want to explore selling high on Barner.

Sam Darnold Looking to Improve Footwork, Limit Turnovers

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold led the Seahawks to a Super Bowl victory in his first year with the team in 2025, but after a mediocre performance in the Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots, the veteran signal-caller knows he has plenty to work on going into his ninth year in the NFL. Darnold didn't turn the ball over in the postseason, but he had 20 regular-season turnovers (14 interceptions and six fumbles lost). "I think the biggest thing is continuing to build off of my weaknesses, understanding what I wasn't great at this past year, which I think for me is continuing to hone in on the deep ball, understand how I can be better that way, quieting my feet in the pocket," Darnold said. The former No. 3 overall pick by the New York Jets in 2018 out of USC threw for 4,048 yards, 25 touchdowns and 14 picks during 17 regular-season starts to finish as the QB13 in fantasy. The 29-year-old has one of the best receivers in the game in Jaxon Smith-Njigba at his disposal, but the Seahawks will be relying on rookie running back Jadarian Price after letting Kenneth Walker III walk in free agency. His QB13 finish in 2025 might be his ceiling when considering the lack of depth on Seattle's offense and the fact that the offense will be run by a first-time play-caller in Brian Fleury.

Cooper Kupp  • WR  •  Seahawks

Has Cooper Kupp Become a Fantasy Non-Factor for 2026?

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp played in 16 games in 2025, but his 593 receiving yards were the lowest since his 2018 sophomore season, in which he missed eight games after tearing his ACL halfway through. His first season in Seattle also marked his first 16-game campaign since winning the receiving Triple Crown in 2021, but even without succumbing to the injuries that have slowed him of late, the ninth-year veteran has seen a notable decline in his ability to separate or add meaningful production after the catch. Heading into his 10th season at 33 years old, Kupp remains an important complementary piece for Seattle behind Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but that real-life importance is unlikely to translate to fantasy outside of the occasional best-ball spike week, and the two-time Super Bowl champion is RotoBaller's WR72 for 2026.

Rashid Shaheed  • WR  •  Seahawks

Rashid Shaheed Carries Dynasty Buy-Low Appeal into 2026

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Rashid Shaheed is entering his first full season with the team after being acquired from the New Orleans Saints at the 2025 trade deadline. Shaheed's production fell off a cliff following last year's trade, as he recorded 15 catches for 188 yards and zero touchdowns across nine games with the Seahawks after hauling in 44 receptions for 499 yards and two scores across nine games with the Saints. Nevertheless, Seattle re-signed Shaheed to a three-year, $51 million contract in March. As a result, he'll enter 2026 in the mix for the team's WR2 spot behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba, along with veteran Cooper Kupp and youngster Tory Horton. With a full offseason to integrate himself, Shaheed's role in the Seahawks passing game seems likely to expand. In dynasty formats, managers may have a buy-low window on Shaheed ahead of the 2026 season.

Jalen Milroe  • QB  •  Seahawks

Jalen Milroe Remains a High-Ceiling, Low-Floor Dynasty Hold

After being selected in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Jalen Milroe carried the ball three times as a rookie, fumbling once on his way to four yards while attempting zero pass attempts, and he has fallen to QB42 in RotoBaller's dynasty rankings. Always viewed as a developmental prospect, he was never going to threaten for a starting role in his first season, but with veteran Drew Lock still on the roster and presumed to again serve as Sam Darnold's primary backup after signing a two-year deal in 2025, Milroe is unlikely to see even a path to playing time until 2027. An athletic marvel, Milroe scored 20 rushing touchdowns in his final season at Alabama and ran an unofficial 4.37-second 40-yard dash at his 2025 Pro Day, and with a skill set that has historically translated to fantasy points regardless of on-field results, he remains a hold in all superflex dynasty leagues. While accuracy issues could prevent him from ever making a start in the NFL, his rushing upside would make him an immediate plug-and-play fantasy option if ever provided the opportunity.

Tory Horton an Intriguing Dynasty Stash with a Path to Fantasy Relevance

Prior to suffering a shin injury that ultimately landed him on injured reserve and required offseason surgery, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tory Horton was on a double-digit touchdown pace, aided by two scores in the final contest of his rookie season. Unable to participate in organized team activities or minicamp practices, Horton is expected back early, if not at the start of training camp. While in his absence, the Seahawks traded for and then locked up a similar downfield threat in Rashid Shaheed, there is still enough to be excited about to keep Horton worthy of an end-of-bench stash in dynasty leagues. Cooper Kupp is now 33 years old and showing serious signs of decline, and with Shaheed averaging only 1.5 receptions across his 12 regular and postseason games with Seattle, the depth chart behind Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba is not insurmountable. Offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak is gone, but there's an expectation that Brian Fleury will adopt many of the play-action principles that allowed Sam Darnold to succeed, providing fantasy-friendly opportunities for a player like Horton who can routinely get behind defenses. Only 23 years old, Horton is RotoBaller's dynasty WR81, but with a few things breaking his way, he has a perceivable path to fantasy viability as early as 2026.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba  • WR  •  Seahawks

Should Jaxon Smith-Njigba Be Viewed as the Overall Dynasty WR1?

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba emerged as a superstar in 2025, recording 119 receptions for 1,793 yards and 10 touchdowns on 163 targets across 17 games. The 24-year-old put together one of the most preposterously efficient pass-catching seasons in NFL history, averaging 3.61 yards per route run. Entering 2026, Smith-Njigba may face some standard regression to the mean from an efficiency perspective. However, the Seahawks were one of the most run-heavy teams in the NFL last season, finishing the year ranked 30th in pass rate. If Seattle is forced to turn to the air a bit more this upcoming season, a slight volume bump for Smith-Njigba could help make up for any drop-off in efficiency. Either way, Smith-Njigba is entering the prime of his career and appears poised to be one of the best wide receivers in fantasy football for the foreseeable future. In dynasty formats, he has a legitimate case to be valued as the number one overall wide receiver.

George Holani Still Getting First-Team Reps

As was the case during voluntary organized team activities, Seattle Seahawks running back George Holani got the first reps with the starting unit during the media-accessible practice sessions of mandatory minicamp. He continued to be spelled by first-round pick Jadaraian Price, but unlike the opening weeks of spring, Price was reportedly given entire drives with the starting offense. Holani's receiving and pass-blocking work made him easy to trust in relief of the injured Zach Charbonnet during the team's Super Bowl run, but with the rookie already taking on a larger responsibility and Charbonnet spotted doing rehab work for the first time since he tore his ACL in January, Holani's spot atop the depth chart seems tentative at best.

Jadarian Price Getting More Reps With Starters

Seattle Seahawks first-round pick Jadarian Price continues to be the second running back to take reps with the starting unit, as he was in voluntary practice sessions, still sliding in behind third-year back George Holani. However, for the first time this spring, he was seen handling entire drives with the first-team offense. Unexpectedly, 2023 second-round pick Zach Charbonnet was spotted doing low-impact drills with trainers on Tuesday, marking the first time he's been seen on the field since his season-ending ACL tear in a Divisional Round win over the 49ers and signaling that he could be closer to a return than initially speculated. With Charbonnet on the final year of his rookie contract, the belief is that Seattle's lead back responsibilities will eventually be turned over to Price, but with Charbonnet potentially back in the fold earlier than anticipated, and the rookie still needing to earn his way to the top, the backfield situation in Seattle has the potential to become a frustrating one for fantasy in 2026.

Zach Charbonnet Part of Seattle's Early Season Plans?

Less than five months removed from the ACL tear that ended his 2025 season, Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet (knee) was seen by reporters working out with trainers for the first time since the injury. Head coach Mike Macdonald has been vague about Charbonnet's recovery, but in testing out the knee with low-impact agility drills in front of the gathered media, Charbonnet appears to be closer to a return than some originally speculated. MacDonald had previously said the fourth-year back would not partake in any spring activities, so to see his timeline accelerated in the team's final open practice before training camp suggests he might be ready closer to the start of the season than the middle.

Zach Charbonnet Could Return in Early October

Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet (knee) could make a return to the field earlier than expected. According to Corbin K. Smith, Charbonnet is on track to return in early October. That's encouraging news considering Charbonnet suffered a torn ACL during the divisional round victory over the San Francisco 49ers in mid-January. Typically, these injuries take anywhere from 9 to 12 months to fully heal. He underwent surgery in February, so an October timetable is a little early, but it doesn't seem out of the question. In the meantime, the Seahawks are likely going to lean on rookie Jadarian Price and Emanuel Wilson in the backfield. An early October return date would give Charbonnet more stash value heading into draft season.
