Cincinnati Bengals kicker Cade York will be a borderline starting kicking option for fantasy managers with the Bengals trying to keep their faint playoff hopes alive with a win on Saturday against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers on the road in the Week 18 regular-season finale. The 23-year-old missed a 33-yarder in overtime last Saturday in the eventual victory over the Denver Broncos, his second straight week with a missed field goal. Since taking over for Evan McPherson (groin), York has made five of his seven field-goal opportunities while going 13-for-14 on extra points for the Bengals. McPherson is eligible to return from Injured Reserve this weekend, but it will be York kicking in his fifth straight game. He's certainly not the most reliable fantasy kicker, but given Cincy's high-scoring offense, he's at least in play as a streamer in what should be one of the most competitive games of the week.

The Bengals are signing York with kicker Evan McPherson (groin) expected to miss a few weeks due to injury. York appeared in one game for Washington back on Sept. 8 in the Week 1 regular-season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and made one of his two field-goal tries and both of his extra points. The 23-year-old was drafted in the fourth round in 2022 out of LSU by the Cleveland Browns, but he made only 75% of his 32 field-goal attempts in his rookie season and the Browns moved on. The Bengals should be able to put up points on Monday night in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys, but York will be a pretty shaky streaming option in deeper fantasy leagues.

The Commanders cut York on Monday after he missed both of his field-goal tries in the Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 23-year-old made both of is extra-point attempts, but he gets the axe after just one week after missing from 47 and 56 yards out in the season opener in Tampa. Seibert comes to D.C. after being cut by the New York Jets in training camp. The 27-year-old should take over immediately as the replacement for York, but fantasy managers should ignore him in an offense being run by a rookie QB. Seibert entered the league as a fifth-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2019 out of Oklahoma. He has made 80.4% of his 56 field-goal tries in five years with four different teams.
Washington Commanders kicker Cade York joined the Commanders during the last week of August in exchange for a late-round pick, making him the new starting kicker. The Commanders opened the preseason with Riley Patterson and Ramiz Ahmed on their roster, but both failed to make the final cut after they missed several attempts.
