Jason Sanders News
Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders went 2-for-2 on extra points and 3-for-3 on field goals during Sunday's playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills. Sanders converted from 37, 40, and 48 yards out. Miami's offense took major strides in 2022, and so did Sanders, who demonstrated improved accuracy time and time again. The 27-year-old contract is structured in a way that would allow the Dolphins to release him for relatively cheap, but given his strong campaign, that's unlikely to happen. Sanders has a cap number of $3.8 million in 2023 and will likely remain in Miami for the final four years of his contract. Consider him a top-12 kicker in fantasy football next season.
Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders should remain a strong option heading into Sunday's game versus the Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins head into the playoffs led by Skylar Thompson after Tua Tagovailoa (head) was ruled out for the third consecutive week. Miami's offense could stall at times due to the instability and inexperience at the quarterback position. As a result, the opportunity exists for Sanders to handle the bulk of the Dolphins' scoring. Just last week, he was responsible for nine of their 11 points, exceeding double-digit fantasy points. The Bills pose a bigger challenge than the Jets, but Sanders still has an opportunity to deliver decent production in this big win-or-go-home game for Miami.
Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders played a key role in Sunday's win over the New York Jets on Sunday, going 3-for-3 on field goals. He was responsible for all nine of the Dolphins' offensive points and also hit the game-winning kick as Miami clinched the AFC's No. 7 seed. Sanders' successful kicks came from 37, 37, and 50 yards out. He's a solid DFS option heading into the Wild Card round versus Buffalo.
