Ravens Add To Secondary With Brandon Stephens
The Baltimore Ravens selected SMU cornerback Brandon Stephens with the No. 104 overall draft pick in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft on Friday night. Stephens is an athletic outside cornerback with impressive vertical leaping ability at the catch point. He stands at 6-foot, 206 pounds, and is raw in coverage. However, he has enough athletic ability and speed to develop into a pretty serviceable cornerback in the NFL. As with most prospects taken at this point in the draft, he's not anywhere close to perfect, but the Ravens will have a chance to mold him into a guy that can make a difference on the outside in coverage.
