Tim Patrick Fantasy Stats

New York Jets wide receiver Tim Patrick made his 2026 season debut against Cleveland after recovering from a groin injury that kept him sidelined for the opening four weeks. He caught two of three targets for 26 yards, providing New York with another receiving option while Adonai Mitchell (finger) remained unavailable. Mitchell has now been ruled out for Week 6, which could give Patrick another opportunity to earn playing time against New England. However, Garrett Wilson continues to dominate targets, and the Jets also have multiple tight ends involved in the passing game. Rookie Omar Cooper Jr. could further complicate the rotation if activated from injured reserve. Patrick's Week 5 involvement was not enough to establish a meaningful fantasy role, and the Patriots present a difficult matchup for an offense that has struggled to produce through the air. He remains outside starting consideration in standard fantasy leagues.

New York Jets wide receiver Tim Patrick (groin) is being placed on injured reserve, according to Zack Rosenblatt. Patrick was already ruled out for Sunday's opener against Tennessee after missing practice Thursday and Friday, and now he will be sidelined for at least four games. The veteran signed with New York in May after spending last season with Jacksonville, where he caught 15 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns across 16 games. Patrick was buried on a Jets depth chart that already includes Garrett Wilson, Adonai Mitchell, Omar Cooper Jr., Isaiah Williams and Arian Smith, so there was not much fantasy value here even before the injury. His absence could create a few extra snaps elsewhere in the receiver rotation, but there is no obvious waiver-wire winner from this move. Patrick can be left on waivers in standard leagues while he works his way back.

New York Jets veteran wide receiver Tim Patrick (undisclosed) was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list on Tuesday, a source told Connor Hughes of SNY. It's unclear why the Jets placed Patrick on the PUP list to begin with last weekend, but the 32-year-old is ready to rejoin his teammates at training camp this week. The former undrafted free agent out of Utah will be WR depth in 2026 in his first year with Gang Green behind Garrett Wilson, Adonai Mitchell, and rookie Omar Cooper Jr. Patrick has six years of NFL experience, but at this point in his career after suffering a torn ACL and a torn Achilles tendon in back-to-back seasons in 2022 and 2023, he's not much more than an experienced possession wideout. He caught a career-low 15 passes on 24 targets for 187 yards and three touchdowns in 16 regular-season games (three starts) last year in a crowded Jacksonville Jaguars WR room. Patrick could have a clearer path to a role in 2026 with the Jets, but it's still not enough to make him relevant in standard-sized fantasy leagues.

The New York Jets placed wide receiver Tim Patrick (undisclosed) on the Physically Unable to Perform list on Saturday due to an undisclosed injury, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The good news for Patrick, who suffered a torn ACL and Achilles in back-to-back seasons in 2022 and 2023 while with the Denver Broncos, is that his injury isn't considered serious, and he could be ready to play in the Jets' preseason opener on Aug. 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 32-year-old veteran wideout will probably open the 2026 campaign as the Jets' WR4, at best, behind Garrett Wilson, Adonai Mitchell, and rookie Omar Cooper Jr., leaving him little room for fantasy value in all leagues. Patrick had 15 receptions on just 24 targets for 187 yards and three touchdowns in 16 regular-season games (three starts) in a crowded Jacksonville Jaguars' receiving room last year. He had back-to-back 700-yard seasons with a combined 11 touchdowns in Denver in 2020 and 2021 before injuries struck, and Patrick is now a veteran depth option for the Jets heading into his seventh NFL campaign.

The New York Jets agreed to terms on an undisclosed deal with veteran free-agent wide receiver Tim Patrick on Wednesday after he visited with the team, a source told Rich Cimini of ESPN. Patrick played in 16 regular-season games with the Jacksonville Jaguars last year and finished with only 15 receptions for 187 yards and three touchdowns on 24 targets in his sixth year in the NFL. A once-promising career was derailed with the Denver Broncos in 2022 and 2023 when he suffered torn ACLs in his knee in back-to-back seasons. The 32-year-old veteran originally went undrafted out of Utah before debuting in the NFL back in 2018 in Denver. He spent four years with the Broncos before playing for the Detroit Lions in 2024 and in Jacksonville last season. Patrick will bring a veteran presence to New York's WR room in 2026 and will offer versatility and depth to a unit that already includes Garrett Wilson, Adonai Mitchell, and rookie first-rounder Omar Cooper Jr. In an offense run by veteran QB Geno Smith as most likely the WR4, Patrick won't be on the fantasy radar at all in redraft or dynasty formats.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Tim Patrick had five receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown on six targets during Sunday's win over the division-rival Indianapolis Colts. Patrick posted season-best marks in catches and yards while scoring his third touchdown of the year. The 32-year-old wideout saw an uptick in snaps with Parker Washington (hip) out of the lineup, playing 65.6% of the offensive snaps, his second-highest mark of the season. Patrick was acquired by the Jaguars from the Detroit Lions before the start of the regular season, and while he hasn't played a massive role, he's earned at least four targets in three of the past four games. Patrick still profiles as more of a deep-league option, but that could change if he stacks another performance like this. He'll be worth considering as a deep-league flex play in Week 15 against the New York Jets if Washington misses another game.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have acquired veteran wide receiver Tim Patrick from the Detroit Lions in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The 31-year-old recorded 33 catches for 394 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games with Detroit last year. The Lions' decision to move on from Patrick signals an internal belief in third-round rookie Isaac TeSlaa, who was a standout performer in the preseason. In Jacksonville, Patrick will likely step into the team's WR3 role next to Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter. He should remain off the radar of fantasy managers.

The Detroit Lions announced on Friday that they re-signed wide receiver Tim Patrick to an undisclosed deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. After missing all of the 2022 and 2023 seasons due to devastating injuries while with the Denver Broncos, Patrick latched on with Detroit's practice squad last fall and ended up playing in 16 regular-season games (nine starts) while contributing 33 catches on 44 targets for 394 yards and three touchdowns as the No. 3 wideout behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. The 31-year-old will return to a high-powered Lions offense that remains relatively unchained outside of a new offensive coordinator. Patrick could have some decent games again for the Lions in 2025, but unless St. Brown or Williams miss extended time due to injury, he'll be hard to justify as a flex option in standard 12-team fantasy leagues.

The New York Jets are expected to target Detroit Lions impending free-agent wide receiver Tim Patrick in free agency this offseason because of his ties to new Jets head coach Aaron Glenn, who was an assistant coach with the Lions last year, sources tell The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt. In addition to Patrick, Rosenblatt mentions Los Angeles Chargers impending free-agent receiver Joshua Palmer. The 31-year-old Patrick had a few injury-plagued seasons with the Denver Broncos before bouncing back with the Lions in 2024, when he caught 33 of 44 targets for 394 yards and three touchdowns in 16 regular-season games (nine starts). Palmer, 25, has averaged 15 yards per catch the last two seasons for the Bolts and is projected to receive a two-year, $13 million deal in free agency by PFF. Rosenblatt doesn't expect the Jets to go on a major spending spree in free agency.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Tim Patrick delivered a solid four-game stretch where he looked like one of the best No. 3 receivers in the NFL, but a subpar finish to the regular season has stripped him of some fantasy appeal as the Divisional Round gets underway. This week, Patrick gets ready for a matchup with the Washington Commanders, who have ranked near the middle of the league in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers. They've also fared equally well against both slot and perimeter weapons, so Patrick's tendency to operate out wide doesn't give him much of an advantage. The veteran receiver caught two passes on three targets over his final three games during the regular season, consistently playing between 55 and 65 percent of the offensive snaps. His experience and veteran status do give him a slight boost in the playoffs, but he's still tough to trust given his reduced volume to end the regular season. Look for him to rank as a fringe top-24 fantasy receiver this week.
