Tim Patrick Looking For Fourth 100-Yard Game

Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick had his third 100-yard game of the season in last week's win over the Dolphins, and he's been incredibly efficient considering quarterback Drew Lock's struggles in his first full season as the starter. The Saints Defense, Denver's Week 12 opponent, has been more vulnerable through the air than on the ground this year, but their overall defense ranks third in the league. The Broncos should be forced to pass more than they'd like in this one, which is good news for Patrick and the Denver wideouts. The 27-year-old has impressed in 2020, but he's still more of a WR4/flex in this inconsistent offense while going up against strong cornerbacks Janoris Jenkins and Marshon Lattimore.

Tim Patrick Leads Broncos In Receiving

Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick had a team-high five receptions on eight targets for a team-high 119 receiving yards in the 20-13 win over the Dolphins in Week 11. His eight targets were also tied for the team lead on Sunday. It marked the third time this season that Patrick has gone over 100 yards receiving after doing it in back-to-back weeks in Weeks 4 and 6 against the Jets and Patriots. The 27-year-old has been targeted seven-plus times in each of the last three weeks, and he should continue to see a steady diet of targets in Week 12 against the Saints. New Orleans defense has been much more vulnerable through the air, and Denver will likely need to throw to stay in the game. Patrick will be a WR3/flex with some upside in Week 12.

Tim Patrick Has Become Denver's No. 2 Wideout

Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick has fallen behind rookie Jerry Jeudy as the team's top wideout in recent weeks. However, Patrick still managed to catch four of his six targets for 61 yards in the blowout loss to the Raiders last week. If quarterback Drew Lock (ribs) doesn't play against the Dolphins this Sunday, we'd recommend avoiding Patrick as a WR3/4 in deeper leagues. The Miami defense is middle-of-the-pack in terms of fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, but Patrick may also draw the coverage of cornerback Xavien Howard, which could prove to be a difficult matchup. You can find better upside receivers if Brett Rypien or Jeff Driskel are leading Denver's offense this weekend.
