Tim Patrick News
The Denver Broncos restructured wide receiver Tim Patrick's contract to lower his salary cap hit for the 2022 season from $9.25 million to $4.6 million, giving the Broncos around $4.6 million in cap space. Patrick agreed to restructure a $6.95 million roster bonus that was due on March 21, converting it into a signing bonus. He's still due a $1.5 million base salary, and his 2023 cap hit will increase to $11.57 million. Denver could do a similar restructure with Courtland Sutton, as he's due a $10.5 million roster bonus on March 21. Patrick led the team with 742 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 2020, and he followed that up with 734 yards and five touchdowns on 53 catches in 2021. He'll be more attractive as a WR4/flex in deeper leagues with quarterback Russell Wilson in town, but his big games will be hard to predict in an offense with many weapons.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick led the Broncos in receiving in Saturday's 28-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs to finish off the season. Patrick led the team in receptions (six), targets (10) and receiving yards (95). The 28-year-old, who signed a contract extension during the season, finishes the year with a career-high 53 receptions for 734 yards and five touchdowns on 85 targets over 16 games for Denver. Patrick caught 62.4% of the passes thrown his way and averaged 3.3 catches and 45.9 receiving yards per contest. He's a trustworthy pass-catcher and is extremely underrated, but with Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy not going anywhere in 2022, Patrick will likely remain a low-upside WR4/flex, depending on what the Broncos do to address the QB situation.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick missed the Week 17 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers due to COVID-19, but he'll be back on the field for the Week 18 regular season finale on Saturday against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick leads the Broncos receivers with five touchdowns on the year, but he's averaging 3.1 catches and 42.6 receiving yards in 15 games played as the No. 3 wideout behind Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton in a run-first offense. And Denver's offense has become even more stagnant with quarterback Drew Lock finishing out the string with Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) injured. Patrick hasn't cleared 50 yards in a game since Week 9 and should be avoided for fantasy lineups this weekend.

Believe it or not, Tim Patrick was the Denver Broncos' most reliable pass-catcher in 2020, mainly because Courtland Sutton suffered a season-ending injury in Week 1. Patrick had only 742 receiving yards on 51 receptions, but he finished with an...
