Free-agent linebacker Cam Brown is signing with the Miami Dolphins, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN. Brown spent the last four seasons with the New York Giants after being selected by the organization in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Penn State. In his first 60 NFL games, the 26-year-old accumulated 35 tackles (24 solo) and two forced fumbles. He posted seven special teams tackles last season, which is where he will likely contribute for the Fins in 2024.
With the No. 183 overall pick in the sixth round, the New York Giants selected Penn State linebacker Cam Brown. Brown was a team captain and two-year starter for the Nittany Lions in college. He's a tall and long linebacker who can play both inside and outside, which will give him a better chance to stick on the roster. Brown plays aggressively, but he'll need to shore up his tackling and improve his coverage skills as a tall and long linebacker (6-foot-5, 233 pounds).
