De'Von Achane Remains a High-End Dynasty RB Despite Uncertain Supporting Cast

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane put together an excellent season in 2025, recording 1,838 yards from scrimmage and 12 touchdowns on 305 touches across 16 games. While the 24-year-old has established himself as one of the best running backs in fantasy football, there are some notable changes around him in Miami going into 2026. Bobby Slowik will take over for Mike McDaniel as the Dolphins' play-caller, and Malik Willis is replacing Tua Tagovailoa as the team's starting quarterback. Achane is also currently in somewhat of a contract standoff with the organization as he enters the final year of his rookie contract and seeks a monster extension. Still, despite the relative uncertainty around him, Achane profiles as the most talented player on the Miami offense by far. With the Dolphins having traded away star wideout Jaylen Waddle over the offseason, Achane could even surpass the 85 targets he saw as a receiver in 2025. In dynasty formats, Achane remains a high-end RB1.

Malik Washington  • WR  •  Dolphins

Malik Washington Emerging as a Low-Cost Dynasty Buy in Miami

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Malik Washington is one of only three wideouts still on the roster who caught a pass for the team in 2025. After a busy offseason of cuts, trades, and draft selections, the Dolphins' receiver room has undergone a massive overhaul, and Washington's place within it is very much up in the air. Washington's 46 receptions in 2025 amount to the second highest single season total among all current Dolphins pass catchers other than De'Von Achane, but Miami invested heavily to add new target competition, spending two thirds and a fifth-round pick on Caleb Douglas, Chris Bell, and Kevin Coleman Jr. Bell is still recovering from an ACL tear sustained in late November, and Douglas is widely considered to be one of the largest reaches of the draft, so ultimately, it could be the fifth-rounder Coleman who poses the most immediate threat to Washington's workload. After taking more than 90% of his collegiate snaps on the inside, Coleman projects as a slot-only player in the NFL, a role Washington has handled on nearly 50% of his professional snaps. Anytime ambiguity enters a position room, dynasty values tend to crater, and bargains can be found for managers willing to lean into the uncertainty. At RotoBaller's WR131, Washington could be an offseason steal if he's ultimately able to carve out a meaningful role in his third season with Miami.

Greg Dulcich Carries Breakout Potential into 2026

Across 10 games in 2025, Miami Dolphins tight end Greg Dulcich recorded 26 receptions for 335 yards and a touchdown on 33 targets. While the 26-year-old's numbers don't necessarily jump off the page, Dulcich finished the season strong by recording 11 catches for 135 yards and a score on 13 targets over his final three contests. Entering 2026, Dulcich currently sits atop the Dolphins' tight end depth chart and is reportedly a key piece of the team's offensive plans. Miami used third and fifth-round picks on tight ends Will Kacmarek and Seydou Traore in the 2026 NFL Draft, so there will be competition behind Dulcich. Injuries are also a red flag in Dulcich's profile, as he's played in just 31 games across four NFL seasons and has dealt with recurring hamstring issues. Still, Dulcich is well-positioned for a potential breakout year in a Dolphins offense that is desperate for quality pass-catchers after trading away star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle earlier this offseason. In deeper dynasty formats, Dulcich could be a tight end to target heading into 2026.

Caleb Douglas  • WR  •  Dolphins

Caleb Douglas a Low-Upside Dynasty Stash Competing for a Role in Miami

The Miami Dolphins drafted former Texas Tech wide receiver Caleb Douglas in the third round (75th overall) of this year's NFL draft as they looked to restock the cupboard with their WR room following the offseason departures of Tyreek Hill (knee) and Jaylen Waddle. The 22-year-old Douglas spent two years at the University of Florida before finishing off his collegiate career in 2024 and 2025 at Texas Tech, where he combined for 1,723 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns on 114 catches over the last two years. Douglas might have been a reach for the receiver-needy Dolphins, who also took Chris Bell later in the third round. The 6-foot-4, 206-pounder didn't do much with the Gators in his first two years at college, and given his combination of size and speed (4.39-second 40-yard dash), his production in college was a bit underwhelming. The good news is that he has soft competition in Miami in Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert, and Tutu Atwell. Still, it might not amount to much in 2026 in an offense that will run through running back De'Von Achane. Douglas' long-term fantasy profile will depend on his connection with new quarterback Malik Willis, but his ceiling could be as a touchdown-dependent, WR4/flex as a big-bodied red-zone threat.

Jaylen Wright  • RB  •  Dolphins

Jaylen Wright Remains an Appealing Handcuff Option Following NFL Draft

Across 10 games in 2025, Miami Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright recorded 332 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on 75 touches. Wright got off to a slow start to the year after suffering a leg injury that caused him to miss time. However, he gradually worked his way past fellow Dolphins back Ollie Gordon II on the depth chart and finished the year as Miami's primary RB2 behind De'Von Achane. The Dolphins did not add any notable competition to the running back room in the 2026 draft, but they did add offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor with a first-round pick. As long as Achane is in Miami, Wright's path to consistent fantasy production is largely blocked. Still, Wright offers clear handcuff appeal to fantasy managers heading into 2026, provided he can stay in front of Gordon II on the depth chart.

Ollie Gordon II  • RB  •  Dolphins

Ollie Gordon II Fighting for a Roster Spot?

Miami Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon II's roster spot isn't guaranteed ahead of the 2026 NFL season. Gordon entered this week's draft as the team's No. 3 running back behind De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright. While the Dolphins didn't draft a running back, they did still bring in competition for Gordon by signing Texas A&M running back Le'Veon Moss as an undrafted free agent. Moss' best season at school came in 2024, when he rushed for 765 rushing yards, 141 receiving yards, and 10 rushing touchdowns. As the returner on this roster, Gordon has an early advantage over Moss for the third running back spot, but the true test will come during training camp and the preseason. Because the Dolphins have a new-look coaching staff and front office, Gordon may have to prove himself as much as Moss or any other player on the roster. The Oklahoma State product had a modest 231 scrimmage yards, but he added four touchdowns along the way. As it stands, Gordon is the RB69 in RotoBaller's latest dynasty fantasy football rankings.

Malik Willis  • QB  •  Dolphins

Malik Willis Gets Three New Receivers in the Draft

Miami Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis entered this week with a relatively weak supporting cast, but the wide receiver room improved during the NFL Draft. The Dolphins selected Texas Tech wide receiver Caleb Douglas and Louisville wide receiver Chris Bell in the third round, and then they went out and drafted Missouri wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. in the fifth round. None of these players has the draft capital to be an immediate superstar, but they're still intriguing names who offer youth and upside. Plus, most importantly, all three of them -- and especially Douglas and Bell -- have the potential to get on the field as starters in Week 1. The non-rookies in Miami's wide receiver room are Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert, and Tutu Atwell. None of those are flashy names, and we wouldn't be surprised to see any of the rookies establish themselves as immediate contributors throughout training camp and the preseason. Adding capable pass-catchers bodes well for Willis, who is a run-first quarterback but will still need to throw the ball to have success in 2026. He ranks as the QB25 in RotoBaller's early redraft rankings.

Seydou Traore  • TE  •  Dolphins

Dolphins Select Seydou Traore with Pick No. 180

The Miami Dolphins have selected Mississippi State tight end Seydou Traore with the 180th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Traore was born in France but grew up in London, where he joined the NFL Academy as part of the league's International Pathway Program. He began his collegiate career at Arkansas State before transferring first to Colorado and then immediately to Mississippi State, forcing him to sit out the 2023 season as a double transfer. While he never topped his 49 receptions or 628 yards as a sophomore at Arkansas State, he scored a career-high five touchdowns in 2025. Still relatively new to the sport, Traore offers plus-athleticism and could find opportunities to find the field on a Dolphins offense that is reshaping itself on the fly. Miami spent a third-round pick on Ohio State tight end Will Kacmarek, who profiles more as an inline blocker, and they return fifth-year veteran Greg Dulcich after he caught 26 passes with the team in 2025.

Kevin Coleman Jr.  • WR  •  Dolphins

Dolphins Select Kevin Coleman Jr. with 177th Pick

The Miami Dolphins have selected Missouri wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. with the 177th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. He has played for four teams in as many seasons, beginning his collegiate career with Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders, and coach Deion Sanders at FCS Jackson State. Coleman has a slender build, but he moves smoothly and reaches top speed quickly. He profiles as one of the purest slot-only receivers in this draft class, which will put him at a disadvantage in finding the field in heavier packages. The Dolphins had one of the weakest wide receiver rooms in the league after trading away Jaylen Waddle, and they have now spent three picks at the position after selecting Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell in the third round. Coleman offers a completely different skillset, but he will have to wrestle snaps away from veteran Malik Washington to gain any true fantasy relevance.

Chris Bell  • WR  •  Dolphins

Dolphins Take Another Receiver in Chris Bell at 94th Overall

The Miami Dolphins selected Louisville wide receiver Chris Bell (knee) with the 94th overall pick in the third round of the 2026 NFL draft on Friday night. All four of Bell's collegiate seasons came at Louisville, and he had a total of 2,166 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 151 catches in his four seasons. Despite tearing his ACL in 2025, Bell finished the year with 72 receptions for 917 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games played. At 6-foot-2, 222 pounds, he will give new quarterback Malik Willis a big target down the field and in the red zone whenever he's ready to resume playing. He will join rookie Caleb Douglas in the passing attack for a Dolphins team that really needed to add to their receiver room in this year's draft after cutting Tyreek Hill (knee) and trading Jaylen Waddle to the Broncos. Bell and Douglas will join Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert, and Tutu Atwell. The rookie wideouts will have plenty of opportunity, but Bell's short-term fantasy value is clouded by the fact that he could be rehabbing his knee into the start of the regular season this fall. Because of his size, Bell has often been compared to A.J. Brown.

Will Kacmarek  • TE  •  Dolphins

Dolphins Select Will Kacmarek With 87th Overall Pick

The Miami Dolphins have selected Ohio State tight end prospect Will Kacmarek with the 87th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Kacmarek spent three years at Ohio before joining the Buckeyes for his final two collegiate seasons. He had just 15 catches and two touchdowns during his final year at school, but he snuck his way into Day 2 of the draft because of his blocking ability. Widely regarded as the best blocking tight end in this year's draft, Kacmarek will provide plenty of protection for Malik Willis and De'Von Achane in a Dolphins offense that is expected to adopt a run-heavy approach in 2026. Although he should make an impact right away in the trenches, there's not much fantasy appeal here. He ranks outside the top 85 tight ends in RotoBaller's latest dynasty rankings, and he can be avoided in most rookie drafts.

Caleb Douglas  • WR  •  Dolphins

Dolphins Select Caleb Douglas With 75th Overall Pick

The Miami Dolphins have selected Texas Tech wide receiver Caleb Douglas with the 75th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Across 14 games as a redshirt junior with the Red Raiders in 2025, Douglas recorded 54 receptions for 846 yards and seven touchdowns. Douglas is considered a high-upside prospect with good positional size and athleticism, but he struggled with drops and inconsistency throughout his college career. Still, the Dolphins' wide receiver room currently looks like an open competition after the team's trade of star wideout Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos. Alongside veteran wide receivers Jalen Tolbert and Tutu Atwell, Douglas could have a chance to emerge as Miami's number one pass-catcher on the outside if he shows well in training camp.

Chris Johnson  • CB  •  Dolphins

Dolphins Trade Up Three Spots, Select Chris Johnson 27th Overall

The Miami Dolphins have traded up from pick No. 30 to pick No. 27 to select San Diego State cornerback Chris Johnson. Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Miami has sent picks 30 and 90 to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for picks 27 and 138. Johnson had a productive season as a senior at San Diego State in 2025, recording 36 solo tackles, nine passes defensed, and four interceptions. He returned two of his four interceptions for touchdowns, showcasing his big-play ability. The Miami secondary figures to be a relatively open competition for playing time, so Johnson should have a chance to step in as a starter immediately if he can produce in training camp and the preseason.

Kadyn Proctor  • OT  •  Dolphins

Dolphins Trade Down, Select Kadyn Proctor 12th Overall in 2026 NFL Draft

The Miami Dolphins have traded down from pick No. 11 to pick No. 12 to select University of Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor. In addition to the 12th overall pick, Miami is receiving picks number 177 and 180 from the Dallas Cowboys. The 20-year-old Proctor should have a chance to step in right away as the starter at left tackle for the Dolphins, who have been looking for help along the offensive line for the last several seasons. Proctor is known as a high-upside prospect due to his imposing physical frame. He excelled as a run blocker during his college career, but hasn't always been the most consistent player in pass protection. Proctor's presence in Miami should boost the production of Dolphins running back De'Von Achane in 2026 and beyond.

Chris Bell  • WR  •  Dolphins

Chris Bell is Ahead of Schedule in ACL Rehab

Louisville wide receiver prospect Chris Bell (knee) is working his way back from an ACL tear that he suffered in November 2025. Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports that Bell's agent and doctor told him that the NFL Draft prospect "is running 18+ MPH and ahead of schedule in rehab." This would seem to suggest that Bell might be ready for Week 1 of his rookie season in 2026. The ACL tear certainly impacted Bell's draft stock, but Rapoport said that he expects the 21-year-old to be a Day 2 pick (second or third round). Aggregate mock draft data from NFLMockDraftDatabase.com seems to agree, ranking Bell as the #55 prospect in this week's draft. He was a multi-season contributor at school, amassing 144 catches, 2,061 yards, and 12 touchdowns over the last three years (38 games). He's the #17 prospect and #9 wide receiver in RotoBaller's latest fantasy football rookie rankings.

Carson Beck  • QB  •  Dolphins

Could Carson Beck be a First-Round Pick in the NFL Draft?

Miami quarterback Carson Beck has a chance to be selected in the first round of this week's NFL Draft, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL.com. In a conversation on the Rich Eisen Show, Pelissero said that he "can't 100% rule out" the possibility of Beck being a first-round pick. Even if Beck doesn't hear his name called within the first 32 picks, Pelissero indicated that the quarterback prospect is essentially a lock to be selected higher than most analysts and mock drafts are projecting. Up until recently, Beck was a projected fourth-rounder, according to aggregate data compiled by NFLMockDraftDatabase.com. However, on Wednesday, his projected draft position skyrocketed to #65, placing him just on the fringe of the second and third rounds. It's a shocking turn of events, but perhaps not as surprising as it seems given the thinness of this year's quarterback class. Beck was a three-year starter in college and completed an ACC-high 72.4% of his passes for 3,813 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions at Miami in 2025. Fans should now expect to hear his name called in the middle of Day 2, but we also can't rule out a late first-round pick if a team wants to guarantee an extra year of control in his rookie contract.

De'Von Achane  • RB  •  Dolphins

De'Von Achane Spotted at Dolphins Training Facilities

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane was not present for the start of the team's voluntary offseason workout program last week, but he was seen at the training facility on Thursday, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN. It's believed that Achane showed up "as a sign of good faith" as he and the organization continue to talk about a contract extension. The Dolphins continue to say that Achane is off limits for a trade this offseason, even though they already released receiver Tyreek Hill (knee) and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and traded receiver Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos. The 24-year-old Pro Bowler wants the team to prove that they value him as one of the pillars of their rebuild, and all signs point to something eventually being worked out to keep the Texas A&M product in South Beach for years to come. Achane was a top-10 fantasy RB in 2025 with his first 1,000-yard rushing season and eight rushing touchdowns in 16 games. He added 67 catches for 488 yards and four more touchdowns. There will be volatility with Achane in fantasy in 2026 in an offense that could be very inconsistent again, but the high-end volume that he's expected to see will give him a high floor as an RB1.

De'Von Achane  • RB  •  Dolphins

De'Von Achane "Not Available for Trade"

Miami Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan said that running back De'Von Achane is "not available for trade" and that contract talks with the Pro Bowler are progressing this offseason, according to Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN. The Dolphins released receiver Tyreek Hill (knee) and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa while also trading away receiver Jaylen Waddle, so many were wondering if they'd also pull the trigger on dealing Achane as part of a full rebuild. The Dolphins continue to say that they want to build around Achane and new quarterback Malik Willis in the upcoming NFL draft, so Achane apparently isn't going anywhere. The 24-year-old former third-rounder in 2023 out of Texas A&M was the RB6 in half-PPR fantasy scoring last year, and he's now the clear centerpiece of Miami's offense. As one of the most explosive dual-threat RBs in the NFL, Achane should still have a pretty strong floor as an RB1 in 2026, even if the Dolphins' offense continues to be inefficient and inconsistent.

Rueben Bain Jr.  • DE  •  Dolphins

Teams Concerned About Rueben Bain Jr.'s Off-the-Field Issues

Multiple NFL teams are aware of University of Miami defensive end Rueben Bain Jr.'s off-the-field issues and are investigating, according to Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Bain was cited for careless driving in a fatal March 2024 collision, but the charge was dropped two weeks before the death of one of the passengers in his vehicle. Bain was also cited for careless driving in 2025, with that incident also later being dropped. The 21-year-old is one of the more intriguing edge rushers in the 2026 NFL draft class, but his issues off the field could cause his draft stock to fall ahead of the draft later this month. Bain had 20.5 sacks in his three collegiate seasons with the Hurricanes. In 16 games in his final season at Miami last year, he recorded a career-best 9.5 sacks, 30 solo tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, an interception, and a fumble recovery. We probably won't have an idea of how much Bain's draft stock might fall until closer to the start of the draft on April 23.

Makai Lemon  • WR  •  Dolphins

Makai Lemon Visits With Dolphins on Monday

USC wide receiver Makai Lemon, who is considered a top-three player at his position in this year's NFL draft class, visited with the Miami Dolphins on Monday, a source told Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Miami has the 11th overall pick in the first round of this year's draft, which is right around the spot when teams will likely begin considering Lemon. The Dolphins landing Lemon would not be much of a surprise at all after they released All-Pro wideout Tyreek Hill (knee) and traded receiver Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos this offseason. Right now, Jalen Tolbert, Malik Washington, and Tutu Atwell are considered the team's top-three pass-catchers, so new quarterback Malik Willis could certainly use some help. If Lemon were to land in South Beach, he could quickly become the WR1 in Miami as Willis' go-to target. Lemon should man the slot wherever he lands in the NFL, and he's been frequently compared to Lions star wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown.
