Chris Harper Turning Heads At Jets Camp
If there's any team that an unknown wide receiver has a chance of being noticed on in 2017, it's the New York Jets. With previous top receiver Quincy Enunwa now done for the year with a neck injury, Robby Anderson is now the team's top option. Yeah, that says it all. Cue Chris Harper, an undrafted player signed (and eventually released) by the New England Patriots in 2015. Harper is impressing in Jets camp with his secure hands, and has the best catch of the summer so far – a full extension, diving, one-handed grab, while also pulling in a 55-yard touchdown on Saturday. Is he flashing talent, or simply the best of a weak group of pass-catchers? Time will tell. Harper may not even make the team, but he's certainly standing out so far. No Jets receiver is likely to have much fantasy relevance, but at this point any one of them could secure more volume than the others this season.
