The Denver Broncos plan to waive wide receiver Corey Brown with an injury settlement, according to a source. Brown was brought in for receiver depth, but he didn't last very long. He has 79 career receptions in three seasons with the Panthers but hasn't played since 2016. You can completely ignore the 26-year-old.
Corey Brown Not Mentioned Among Bills Top Four Wideouts
When discussing the Buffalo Bills receiving options, head coach Sean McDermott mentioned Jordan Matthews, Anquan Boldin, Zay JonesĀ and Andre Holmes. Of course, that leaves out Corey Brown as one of the odd men out of a significant passing role with the team. Brown did record three receptions for 23 yards in the team's opening preseason game, so he hasn't been left completely without a role yet. In addition, Matthews is in danger of missing some game time this season, given that he has already suffered a serious injury in training camp. That said, having seen Brown's lack of volume and efficiency in his first three seasons coupled with the Bills' unexplosive passing offense, there is no need to consider Brown in any fantasy league.
