Corey Davis, Adam Humphries Officially Out For Tuesday

Tennessee Titans wide receivers Corey Davis and Adam Humphrieshave both been ruled out for Tuesdays contest after having tested positive for COVID-19. Both are currently on the COVID-19 reserve list and were not activated in time for kickoff, putting the onus at receiver on A.J. Brown, with Cody Hollister, Kalif Raymondand Nick Westbrook-Ikhine all expected to see increased playing time as well. The nature of the virus and the recovery process makes it difficult to predict when either Davis or Humphries will return to the field, but their next chance will come Sunday with a quick turnaround against the Texans in Week 6.

Titans Put Corey Davis On COVID-19 List

The Tennessee Titans placed wide receiver Corey Davis on the COVID-19 reserve list on Wednesday. It looks as though Davis was one of two more Titans players to test positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, which makes it highly unlikely that he'll be available in Week 5 against the Bills. The outbreak continues for Tennessee, and their game this Sunday against Buffalo is in danger of being postponed. If they do play, A.J. Brown (knee) is expected to make his return after missing two games, but he'd also be a dangerous fantasy play in a likely matchup with All-Pro cornerback Tre'Davious White. With Adam Humphries on the COVID-19 list as well, Kalif Raymond and rookie Nick Westbrook would likely be forced into more playing time.

Corey Davis Leads Titans In Receiving Yards

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis recorded five receptions on six targets for 69 yards in Week three against the Vikings. Despite finishing second on the team in targets, Davis led the team in receiving yards in the absence of A.J. Brown (knee). The majority of his production came on a 38-yard reception that ultimately set up a one-yard rushing score for Derrick Henry late in the third quarter. Davis may be heading toward a fourth-year breakout. He has 206 yards and a touchdown across three games and should continue to be valuable as long as A.J. Brown remains sidelined. He faces a stingy Steelers Defense in Week four.
