The Las Vegas Raiders signed defensive back Cre'von LeBlanc to an undisclosed deal on Thursday. LeBlanc didn't play at all for the Raiders last season, and he last played in nine games for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020, recording 22 tackles (19 solo), one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one sack. He also spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans and New England Patriots during the year, but he never played in a regular season game. LeBlanc began his NFL career with the Chicago Bears in 2016 and has also played for the Detroit Lions. In 52 career games (16 starts), the 27-year-old has 118 tackles (102 solo), three QB hits, two interceptions (one for a touchdown), 18 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two sacks.
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cre'Von LeBlanc (ankle) had an MRI exam show a second-degree high-ankle sprain, according to a source. LeBlanc will likely be heading to Injured Reserve as a result, and it's too early to tell if he'll be able to return this season. If he's placed on IR, LeBlanc will have to miss at least three games. The 26-year-old from Florida Atlantic has recorded 22 tackles (19 solo), two passes defensed, one fumble recovery and one sack in his nine games played this season. Philadelphia will be short-handed for a Monday night matchup with the Seahawks in Week 12. That's not a matchup in which the Eagles Defense will be attractive for fantasy managers.
