Derius Davis Taken By Chargers In Fourth Round
The Los Angeles Chargers selected Texas Christian University wide receiver Derius Davis with the 125th pick of the fourth round in the 2023 NFL Draft. Davis joins college teammate Quentin Johnston in the Justin Herbert offense. Davis shouldn't be expected to produce much in a crowded Chargers' wide receiver room with Johnston, Mike Williams, Keenan Allen, and Joshua Palmer. Ultimately, he projects more as a special teamer than a full-fledged volume wideout, so he won't be a popular pick in 2023 rookie dynasty drafts. The 5'8" wideout posted just 1,483 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in five seasons at TCU.
