Darrel Williams News
Kansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams (toe) participated fully in Wednesday's practice. Last week, the 26-year-old was limited with a toe injury and was inactive for the Divisional -Round game against the Buffalo Bills. He is expected to be available for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Williams will split touches out of Kansas City's backfield with Clyde-Edwards Helaire and Jerick McKinnon. Due to the uncertainty of his role, Williams is more of a GPP option in Sunday's main DFS slate.
Kansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams (toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's Divisional Round game against the Buffalo Bills. Williams missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but he returned to a limited session on Friday, giving him a chance to play this weekend. Not only did Williams put himself in the doghouse with the Chiefs coaching staff in the wild-card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a lost fumble that was returned for a touchdown, but Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) is returning this weekend. So if Williams is active on Sunday night, he could be the No. 3 behind Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon, who stepped up last week to the tune of 142 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. If Williams is active, you'll want to avoid him in DFS.
Kansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams (toe) didn't practice on Wednesday. He played through the toe injury in Sunday's AFC Wild Card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers but only logged one carry. The 26-year-old rushed for four yards on his only attempt and lost a fumble which was returned for a touchdown. Clyde Edwards-Helaire was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and is trending in the right direction towards suiting up for the Divisional Round game against the Buffalo Bills. If active, it's unclear what Williams' role will be with Edwards-Helaire most likely returning and Jerick McKinnon in the mix, who led the Chiefs backfield with 18 touches for 142 yards and a touchdown in last Sunday's win over the Steelers. Williams is a risky play at his $5,500 price tag on FanDuel.
Kansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams is in an interesting position entering 2021. After finishing last season with just 285 scrimmage yards on 57 touches, Williams will look to break out this fall. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, the team's...
