James Conner News
Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner carried the rock 14 times for 98 yards and a touchdown and caught both his targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 28-16 Week 3 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The veteran back helped kick-start the offense with a five-yard TD dash in the first quarter, from which they never looked back. The Arizona offense is slowly coming together, and Conner has played a significant role in assisting with the transcending rushing attack. He has rushed for 204 yards and two touchdowns in the last two weeks and will look to keep that going in next week's road matchup against a tough 49ers defense.
Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner will be good to go in Week 2 against the New York Giants as he does not carry an injury designation anymore. The 28-year-old was dealing with a calf issue this week but ultimately was able to feel good enough to shed the injury status altogether. As the main source of offense for this team, he'll likely be a low-end RB2 since he'll the see bulk of the opportunities in the backfield. His main limitation will be the offense playing from behind due to a lack of scoring ability.
Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (calf) has been a limited participant in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday but said on Friday that he feels physically ready to play against the New York Giants. The workhorse back said, "Feeling pretty good, man. Awesome challenge for us, so body feeling pretty good." Conner would bring a much-needed piece of the offense against a solid defensive unit, especially since the team is still without their starting quarterback. He'll continue to be the feature back and get plenty of opportunities, but the team will likely be playing from behind most of the game. This leaves him in the low-end RB2 to flex range in Week 2.

Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner represents a true three-down, bell-cow tailback, a dying breed in today's NFL. The 28-year-old has his work cut out, though, to have a prosperous 2023 on Arizona's rebuilding roster. While never lauded for his explosiveness, Conner logged a fantasy-fruitful 70.5% snap share last season. In effect, the two-time Pro Bowler's season-low in total yards (51) furnished a very high floor. Conner also shined amidst a red-hot end in 2022, piling up 102.1 total...
