Jaguars Open Devin Duvernay's Practice Window

The Jacksonville Jaguars opened the 21-day practice window for wide receiver/kick returner Devin Duvernay (lower body) on Wednesday as he looks to return from Injured Reserve. Duvernay returned five kickoffs for 100 yards and seven punts for 81 yards in five games for the team this year before getting hurt and placed on IR on Oct. 9. The 27-year-old former third-round selection by the Baltimore Ravens in 2020 out of Texas only has one reception on his lone target for minus-one yard this year and should remain on the waiver wire in all leagues, even after the Jaguars officially activate him from IR. Duvernay will be eligible to return this weekend to face the Minnesota Vikings, but it remains to be seen if the Jaguars feel that he's ready to do so.

Devin Duvernay Gets Banged Up In Week 5

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Devin Duvernay (lower body) could be in danger of missing the Week 6 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Duvernay suffered a lower body injury during Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts. The former third-round pick played a big role during this Week 5 win. Duvernay had a 53-yard punt return that set up running back Tank Bigsby for a big third quarter touchdown. Head coach Doug Pederson reportedly seemed concerned about Duvernay's status heading into their matchup with the Bears. The assumption is that wide receiver Parker Washington could be asked to fill in at punt return duties if Duvernay is unable to play. The absence of Duvernay won't have much of an impact for fantasy purposes with him serving mostly as depth, but he's still important to this roster.

Devin Duvernay Active For Divisional Round

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (back) is officially active for Saturday's game against the Houston Texans. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction after the Ravens activated him from injured reserve. Over 13 games during the regular season, Duvernay amassed just four receptions for 18 total yards. He primarily contributed on special teams, returning 23 punts and nine kickoffs. He should continue to be avoided by fantasy managers and bettors ahead of the Divisional Round.

Ravens Activate Devin Duvernay From Injured Reserve

The Baltimore Ravens activated wide receiver Devin Duvernay (back) and cornerback Ar'Darius Washington (pectoral) from Injured Reserve on Friday. Both players practiced in full this week but were listed as questionable on the team's final injury report on Thursday, but they are both expected to play on Saturday in the Divisional Round of the playoffs against the visiting Houston Texans. Back spasms kept the 26-year-old Duvernay out of the final four regular season games, but he is going to return this weekend to give the Ravens some receiver depth and a special teams boost as a return option, especially with Tylan Wallace (knee) already ruled out. Duvernay wasn't much of a weapon on offense for the Ravens in 2023, catching just four passes for 18 yards and no touchdowns on nine targets.

Devin Duvernay Will Play In Divisional Round

With Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Tylan Wallace (knee) out for the Divisional Round playoff game on Saturday against the Houston Texans, receiver Devin Duvernay (back) will be activated from Injured Reserve and will play, according to head coach John Harbaugh. The Ravens currently have two open 53-man roster spots, one which will be used for Duvernay, and the other potentially for tight end Mark Andrews (ankle), who is also on IR. The 26-year-old Duvernay has practiced in full all week and will be active for the Ravens, although he most likely will not have a very active role in the offense against Houston. Duvernay hasn't played since Week 14 and has just four catches on nine targets for 18 receiving yards and no touchdowns during the regular season. He's more likely to contribute as a returner on special teams.

Devin Duvernay Questionable, Tylan Wallace Ruled Out

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (back) practiced in full all week but is still questionable to play in Saturday's Divisional Round playoff game against the Houston Texans. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Tylan Wallace (knee) missed practice all week and has been ruled out. Duvernay has not played since injuring his back in Week 14. He remains on Injured Reserve, so the Ravens will need to officially activate him on Friday if they want to have him active against the Texans. Before his injury, the 26-year-old had just four catches for 18 yards and no touchdowns on nine targets in 13 games. If Duvernay is activated and cleared, he's much more likely to make an impact for Baltimore as a returner on special teams.

Devin Duvernay Practicing In Full, Tylan Wallace Out

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (back) was a full practice participant on Tuesday, while fellow wideout Tylan Wallace (knee) was listed as a DNP. Duvernay hasn't played since Week 14 and is still technically on Injured Reserve, although he could be activated before Saturday's Divisional Round game against the Houston Texans if he's able to put in a full week of full practices without suffering any setbacks. The 26-year-old had just four catches for 18 yards in 13 games during the regular season before getting hurt, so he won't be on the fantasy radar if he's active against Houston. Wallace caught his only pass of the year for a gain of 11 yards in the Week 18 regular season finale, and it's a bad sign he's not practicing after a week off in the wild-card round.

Ravens Designate Devin Duvernay To Return From Injured Reserve

The Baltimore Ravens designated wide receiver Devin Duvernay (back) to return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday. It means that Duvernay will be returning to practice this week for the Ravens and will also have next week to practice before the Ravens ultimately decide if they'll officially activate him from Injured Reserve so that he can be available for receiving depth in next weekend's Divisional Round of the playoffs. The 26-year-old hasn't played since Week 14 and wasn't a big part of the offense in 2023 to begin with, so expect the Ravens to ease him back onto the field if he's active for Baltimore's first playoff game. Duvernay had just four receptions for 18 yards and no touchdowns on nine targets on offense, but he did serve as the team's primary returner on special teams when healthy.

Devin Duvernay Headed To Injured Reserve, Should Return For Playoffs

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver/return specialist Devin Duvernay (back) suffered a back injury in the team's Week 14 win over the Los Angeles Rams. He is being placed on the Injured Reserve list, which will end his regular season. However, the speedster's injury does not require surgery, and he should return for the playoffs, according to NFL.com. The 26-year-old has logged just eight offensive touches for 24 yards this season. However, he ranks sixth in yards per punt return (12.6) among players with at least 13 attempts. Third-year wideout Tylan Wallace stepped in for him in Week 14, returning a punt for a touchdown to win the game for the Ravens in overtime.

Rashod Bateman, Devin Duvernay Practice In Full Thursday

Baltimore Ravens wide receivers Rashod Bateman (foot) and Devin Duvernay (knee) upgraded to full participants in practice on Thursday. They had been limited on Wednesday. At this point, it's safe to say that both pass-catchers will play in Week 12 versus the Los Angeles Chargers, barring a setback. With that said, neither player has occupied a central role within the offense this season. They can be left on waivers in most fantasy leagues despite an enticing matchup.
