Devin Duvernay News
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (ankle) missed practice all week and is doubtful to play on Sunday against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals. The 24-year-old will likely miss his first game of the season. Sammy Watkins remains on the COVID-19 list, so the Ravens will be a little thin in receiver depth this weekend. Marquise Brown and rookie Rashod Bateman will serve as the top two wideouts, with James Proche II, Miles Boykin and rookie Tylan Wallace battling for snaps behind them. Duvernay is mostly useful to Baltimore on special teams as a kick returner, and he's added 31 catches for 253 yards and two touchdowns on 44 targets in 14 games. He hasn't been on the fantasy radar in redraft leagues.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (ankle) has missed both days of practice this week. Duvernay was rarely on the field in the Week 15 loss to the Green Bay Packers, so he could've been dealing with the injury last weekend. Even if the 24-year-old is active on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, he cannot be trusted in fantasy lineups. Duvernay has recorded 31 catches on 44 targets for 253 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games as the No. 4 wideout behind Marquise Brown, rookie Rashod Bateman and Sammy Watkins. And it's looking more likely that quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) will miss his second straight game this weekend. If Watkins doesn't clear COVID protocols, Mile Boykin and James Proche II would have bigger roles behind Brown and Bateman.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (thigh) practiced in full on Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation into the Week 13 game against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers. Meanwhile, receiver Miles Boykin (finger) is doubtful after being limited in practice all week. Unless your fantasy league rewards points for kickoff and punt return yards, Duvernay is likely off your radar as the team's No. 4 receiver behind Marquise Brown, rookie Rashod Bateman and Sammy Watkins. The 24-year-old can be electric with the ball in his hands, but he hasn't had more than four receptions or 45 yards in any week in 11 games played, and he's found the end zone only twice. Duvernay caught just one pass for two yards in the Week 12 win over the Cleveland Browns.
